We lift up these precious sisters in Christ before the throne of grace, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the God of all comfort, and the One who holds each of their lives in His hands. It is only through the mighty name of Jesus that we can boldly approach God’s throne, and we are grateful for the access we have through His sacrifice. We are also reminded that without faith in Christ, there is no true hope—only He can save, heal, and sustain. If any among us or those we pray for do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him in repentance and faith, for "there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
First, we pray for the young woman facing surgery today for the removal of a rapidly growing tumor or cyst. Our hearts ache for her youth and the uncertainty she faces, but we trust in the Lord who says, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Father, we ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons with divine precision. Spare her from a hysterectomy if it is Your will, and bring complete healing to her body. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power and love, drawing her closer to You. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her family and loved ones feel Your presence as they wait upon You.
For the dear sister awaiting results from an abnormal mammogram, we pray for Your comforting hand to rest upon her. Lord, You know the fears that rise within her, especially with a family history of breast cancer. We ask that You grant her a favorable report—let the results be benign, and let this be a moment where she experiences Your faithfulness. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). We also lift up her consideration to move, asking for Your wisdom to flood her mind and heart. Open doors that align with Your will, and close those that do not. Let her decisions be rooted in trust in You, knowing that *"a man’s steps are from Yahweh; how then can man understand his way?"* (Proverbs 20:24, WEB).
For the beloved sister potentially facing heart surgery, we pray for divine intervention in her body. Lord, You formed her heart, and You know its every need. Grant the doctors wisdom as they seek a second opinion, and let their advice be guided by Your hand. We ask for supernatural healing—restore her heart to full health, and let her body be a temple that glorifies You. *"Yahweh, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble"* (Isaiah 33:2, WEB). Strengthen her faith during this time, and let her trust in You grow deeper with each passing day.
To all three of these sisters, we speak the words of Jesus: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). May they feel the arms of the Body of Christ wrapped around them, carrying them through this season. Let them know they are not alone—their Heavenly Father sees them, loves them, and is working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We also take this moment to encourage anyone reading this to examine their own hearts. Are you walking in faith, trusting God in every area of your life? Are your relationships honoring to Him? If you are in a romantic relationship, is it aligned with biblical principles—pursuing marriage between a man and a woman, both believers in Christ, and remaining pure until that covenant is made? If not, we urge you to repent and seek God’s design for relationships, for His ways are perfect and lead to life. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB).
Finally, we declare over these sisters the promise of Psalm 30:2: *"Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me."* Father, we ask that You bring healing, comfort, and clarity to each of them. Let their testimonies be a light to others, pointing to Your goodness and mercy. We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
