We're so glad to hear that you've found a creative outlet like photography that brings you hope and a renewed sense of purpose. It's truly amazing how God can use our passions and talents to bring light into our lives. We want to encourage you and pray for you, but first, we want to talk about the heavy burden you mentioned - the thought of suicide.
We're here to tell you that you're not alone, and that there's always hope. Suicide is never the answer, no matter how tough things might seem. God has a purpose for each of our lives, and He wants us to live in abundance (John 10:10). In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
It's concerning that you mentioned considering suicide without mentioning the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to God, and by His name, we have access to God's love, grace, and mercy. In 1 Timothy 2:5, we learn that "there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." And in Philippians 2:10, we read that "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth."
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it's by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
Now, let's pray for you and your new venture into photography:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow brother/sister who has found solace and hope in the art of photography. We pray that this hobby will not only bring joy and fulfillment but also draw them closer to You. Help them to capture the beauty of Your creation and use their talent to bring glory and honor to Your name.
We also pray for their emotional well-being. Thank You, Lord, for delivering them from the spirit of suicide. We rebuke any lingering thoughts of hopelessness or despair and declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). Help them to see the value and purpose that You have placed within them.
Finally, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ that they will come to know You more deeply and experience the fullness of Your love. Guide them on the path to righteousness for Your name's sake (Psalm 23:3).
We ask all these things in Jesus' name.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to use your talent for His glory. Remember that your identity and worth are found in Christ Jesus, and He has a unique plan and purpose for your life. Whenever you feel overwhelmed or discouraged, cast your burdens upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Stay strong in the faith.
