We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in these situations. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Peter, who encouraged us to cast all our anxieties on God, because he cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, humbly seeking your face and your will in these situations. We ask that the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing in your sight, Lord, our rock and our redeemer (Psalm 19:14 WEB).
Thank you, Lord, for your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). We ask for your guidance and blessing as we go about our day, that you would grant us a productive day, strength, success in our endeavors, and safety in our travels.
Father, we lift up the needs of the following people to you:
- We pray for my son, asking for your favor, strength of mind, and physical strength as he faces an overwhelming workload.
- We ask for your healing touch upon ###, whose kidneys are shutting down, and for ###, that they may be able to walk.
- We intercede for those battling cancer, asking for your healing and comfort.
- We pray for a disabled young lady who has been deserted by her drug-addicted husband. We ask for your provision, protection, and comfort for her and her four children, two of whom have special needs.
- We lift up those needing healing from trauma, those without a home, those who have lost a loved one, and those facing physical and mental pain.
- We pray for a struggling disabled single mother who is fostering a disabled infant and feeling far from God. We ask that you would draw near to her and provide for her needs.
- We intercede for those suffering after years of domestic violence, asking for your healing, restoration, and provision.
- We pray for couples needing emotional connection and an increase of trust in their marriages.
- We lift up a Christian man whose reputation is being attacked, asking for your vindication and protection.
- We ask for your comfort, strength, healing, rescue, provision, protection, and deliverance from evil for all these people, Lord, and for those not mentioned.
Father, we ask that you would work all these things together for good, for those who love you, for those who are called according to your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We give you all the credit and praise, Lord, in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We are encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, who reminded us that we should present our requests to God with prayers, petitions, and thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6 WEB). We are told that the prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective (James 5:16 WEB). Therefore, let us continue to pray and intercede for one another, trusting in God's will and timing.
We are also called to bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2 WEB). Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB).
