We join with you in bringing this burden for our nation before the Father and we hear your heart for America to turn toward what honors God, family and country as we look toward the November 3, 2026 midterm elections.

We share your desire to see leaders chosen who will fear God and govern with righteousness and wisdom. Scripture reminds us that the outcome of elections ultimately rests in God's sovereign hands and that our first calling is to seek His will and His righteousness above any party or wave. Daniel 2:21 tells us He changes the times and the seasons, He removes kings and sets up kings. Proverbs 14:34 says Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. And Psalm 33:12 says Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. We also take to heart 1 Timothy 2:1-2 where we are exhorted first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. Proverbs 29:2 reminds us When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.

So we pray not merely for a color wave but for a wave of righteousness, truth and godly conviction to sweep across voters and those who will be elected.

Father God, we come before Your throne together in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to You. We humble ourselves and seek Your face for our nation. We ask that You move upon the hearts of American voters to take their civic duty seriously and to turn out in great numbers for the 2026 midterms. Let there be a strong and undeniable turnout of men and women who love You, who honor Your Word, who will defend life, family, marriage, religious liberty and the foundations You have given us. We pray that You raise up and establish leaders who will govern with integrity, courage and biblical wisdom, and that You remove those who oppose Your truth. We pray for honest and secure elections, for peace at the polls, for protection over every vote, and for Your will to be done in every race from the local level to the halls of Congress. Let Your people not grow weary in praying, but let us trust Your perfect plan, knowing that America First must mean God first. We ask that You heal our land as we turn from wicked ways and seek You, according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Guide every voter to seek counsel from Your Word and to choose what is pleasing in Your sight. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, Amen.

We encourage you to keep praying daily as you have purposed, and also to act on that prayer by encouraging others to pray, to seek God with a repentant heart, to remain informed with discernment, and to vote according to biblical principles and to help others do the same. We trust not in a political freight train or storm, but in the living God who governs all, and we ask Him to let His righteousness and justice prevail across our nation in this election and beyond.

We hear your deep love for this country and your passion to bring the 2026 midterms before the Lord. Your heart for God, family and country comes through clearly, and your desire to see Americans engaged and voting is understandable.

We join you in lifting our nation and this coming election to God. As we bring our specific hopes to Him, we also place the outcome in His hands, asking above all that His will be done, that the process would be marked by truth and integrity, and that peace would be present in our communities through the season.

A steady way to carry this burden forward is to keep praying daily as you are doing, holding your hopes with open hands before the Lord. Ask Him for wisdom for every voter and for humility and integrity for every candidate and leader. Alongside prayer, staying engaged in respectful and lawful ways, encouraging those around you to seek good information, to vote their conscience, and to love neighbors even when views differ, can be a quiet and faithful witness.

Father, we lift our nation to You and ask for Your mercy and guidance over the months ahead. Grant wisdom to voters, integrity to the election process, and strength and character to those who lead and those who seek to lead. Guard our communities in peace and help us to trust Your sovereign hand as we look to You. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in bringing your burden for this nation before the throne of grace, and we thank you for your persistence in seeking the Lord.

We understand the deep concern you feel for America and the desire to see righteousness and truth prevail in our land. The Scriptures teach us that when anxiety for souls and for the glory of God fills the hearts of His people and leads them to be exceedingly earnest and importunate in prayer, pleading day and night in their chambers, it is as the sound of an abundance of rain. The Lord loves to hear His people agonize together with one another in prayer to God, and by our power in prayer His power is set in motion for His glory and our good.

We would gently encourage you to consider where our deepest trust must rest. The prophet asks, In whom are you trusting. It is easy to trust in a party, a movement, or in princes, but company in such confidence will not save. Our confidence must be in the living God who has given us His promise in Christ. What time we are afraid, whether for our families, our churches, or our nation, we will trust in Him. God has not made this world to be our final nest, but He calls us to seek our soul's true home in Christ while we labor faithfully where He has placed us.

Therefore we will continue much in prayer with you, not merely for an election outcome, but for that which God most desires to give. Let us make a solemn league together to pray, Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You. Let us pray as that humble woman prayed, Lord, help me, not prescribing to the Lord how He must work, but trusting His wisdom and mercy. Let us pray as Daniel prayed, forgetting ourselves and remembering the people of God, Cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary.

So we will pray with you every day, that the Lord would have mercy upon this nation, that He would turn us and cause His anger toward our sins to cease, that He would raise up men and women who fear God and love truth and justice, that He would revive His Church and that many souls would be saved through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We will pray that whatever the result in November, the people of God would live fully for Christ, labor for the Lord in whom we are trusting, and love Him who gives Himself to be trusted by us.

May the God of peace be with you all. We encourage you to keep watching in prayer, to continue in the Word where true consolation is found, and to trust the living Savior in all things. Amen.

Your prayer and your burden for the nation have been heard, and your zeal for God to be honored in our public life is a good thing. It is right to bring the coming elections before the Lord, and to keep bringing them before Him day by day.

Yet Scripture teaches us to be careful about what kind of victory we seek and how we seek it. There is a time when to be defeated in the eyes of the world is better, and the best mode of victory is self control, endurance, and love for neighbor. To overreach or to desire the crushing of others, even for a cause we believe is right, can bring harm to our own soul. The true trophy God erects is not when one party leaves no room for another, but when anger is quenched, when we stand firm after the battle in holiness, and when Christ's victory on the cross is made known.

So I encourage you to keep praying, but to shape your praying by the word of God. Pray as the apostle commands, for all people, for kings and all in authority, that we may lead peaceful and quiet lives in godliness and holiness, for God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth through Jesus Christ alone. Pray that God would raise up leaders in 2026 and beyond who fear Him, who love justice and mercy, who defend life, marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, family, and the good of the nation. Pray that the elections would be conducted honestly and peacefully, that voters would act with wisdom and conscience, and that whatever the outcome, the Church would stand firm, having done all, and continue to proclaim the gospel.

If you desire an America that puts God first, then put God first in the prayer itself. Ask not only for a wave of one color, but for a wave of repentance, of salvation, of righteousness that no power can stop because it comes from the Lord. Pray for your neighbors on every side, including those with whom you disagree, that they too would know the peace and joy Christ gives, which He declared to His disciples after His resurrection.

Let this be your daily prayer: Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, let Your will be done in our nation. Raise up leaders who will walk in Your ways, grant us integrity and peace in the coming elections, and use us to be faithful witnesses of Your truth and grace to all around us. Amen.
