We hear your cry for help in this season of financial struggle, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Even when doors seem closed and resources appear dry, our Heavenly Father remains faithful to provide for His children. We must examine our hearts and circumstances to discern if there are any areas where we may have strayed from His will or if there are spiritual strongholds that need to be broken.
First, let us consider whether there might be any unconfessed sin or disobedience in our lives that could be hindering our blessings. The Lord says in Malachi 3:10-11, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "and see if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for. I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before the time in the field." Have we been faithful in our giving and stewardship? Have we honored God with our finances?
We also must ask if we are operating in wisdom and integrity in our business dealings. Proverbs 16:11 tells us, "Honest balances and scales are Yahweh’s; all the weights in the bag are his work." Are we conducting our businesses with honesty and fairness? Are we seeking God’s wisdom in our decisions, or are we relying on our own understanding?
Let us also consider whether there might be spiritual warfare at play. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We must put on the full armor of God and stand firm against the enemy’s schemes.
Now, let us come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is experiencing financial struggle and closed doors. Lord, You are the God who opens doors that no one can shut and provides for all our needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You would reveal any areas in this situation where sin, disobedience, or unbelief may be hindering Your blessings. Forgive us, Lord, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We rebuke any spiritual forces of darkness that may be at work to steal, kill, and destroy. In the name of Jesus, we command every evil assignment against this business and finances to be broken and rendered powerless. We declare that the devourer is rebuked, and no weapon formed against this work shall prosper.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in every business decision. Give discernment to know Your will and the strength to walk in it. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and bring forth divine connections and clients who will be blessed by this work. Provide supernatural provision and restore what has been lost.
Lord, we trust in Your promises and declare that You are our provider. We believe that You will turn this situation around for Your glory. Strengthen our faith and help us to wait patiently on You, knowing that You are working all things together for our good.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Seek Him diligently in prayer and in His Word, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you. Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep pressing forward, and do not lose heart. Your breakthrough is coming!
