God: Your son Michael has a serious problem. We know the only way he can get to the other side of this is with the power of the Holy Spirit, the grace of the Son and the Love of the Father. Become real to him in this recovery. Whenever he seeks substances, teach him to long for you. Whenever he wants to escape, teach him to find respite in you. Whenever he is angry, teach him to be angry about sin. Whenever he is lost, show him the way. Do not allow him to be tricked. Do not allow him to leave until he is ready to leave with you. We know you want the best for him, let him discover that you are on his side. Amen.
