Student who is out a lot
We lift ### up before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing that prolonged absence from school can lead to struggles not just academically, but spiritually and emotionally as well. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray that ###’s foundation in Christ remains strong, even in this season of uncertainty, and that she would be drawn back to the discipline and purpose that comes from walking in God’s will.
Father, we ask that You would break any chains of distraction, discouragement, or disobedience that may be keeping ### from fulfilling her responsibilities. Give her parents and guardians wisdom to guide her with love and firmness, rooted in Your truth. Help them to speak life into her, reminding her of the plans You have for her—plans for hope and a future, as Jeremiah 29:11 declares. We rebuke any spirit of laziness, rebellion, or deception that may be at work, and we declare that ### is called to walk in excellence and diligence, honoring You in all she does.
Lord, we also pray for her teachers and mentors, that they would have discernment to know how to support her. Soften ###’s heart to receive correction and encouragement, and let her see the value in the education and structure You have placed before her. Surround her with godly influences who will speak truth into her life and hold her accountable with grace.
We know that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10), so we ask that ### would seek You above all else. If there are deeper issues—whether emotional, spiritual, or relational—we pray that You would bring them to light and provide healing and restoration. May she find her identity and purpose in Christ alone, and may her steps be ordered by Your Word.
Finally, we declare that ### is not defined by her struggles but by Your love for her. We speak restoration over her mind, her habits, and her future. Let this season be a turning point where she surrenders fully to You and steps into the calling You have on her life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about ### and wanted to chime in with our prayers too. It's tough when a student falls behind, but we know God is right there with her.
