Struggling

We hear the cry of your heart, and we are lifted up in unity to intercede for you before the Lord, who alone can restore, renew, and redeem every broken place in your life. It is a beautiful thing that you are seeking God again, for He has never left you—even in moments when you may have wandered or felt distant. The Lord says in **Deuteronomy 4:29**, *"From there you will seek Yahweh your God, and you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul."* He is faithful, and He is drawing you back to Himself even now.

Your desire to be a better husband and father is a godly one, rooted in the call God has placed on men to lead their families with love, strength, and humility. **Ephesians 5:25-29** reminds us, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it... Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly."* And in **Ephesians 6:4**, fathers are instructed, *"Don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."* These are not just commands—they are invitations to reflect the heart of God in your home.

Yet we must also ask: Where have you strayed? Have there been areas of compromise—perhaps in your walk with God, your marriage, or your parenting—that have grieved the Holy Spirit? Have you allowed worldly distractions, sin, or neglect to dim the light of Christ in your life? If so, now is the time for repentance. **1 John 1:9** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* There is no shame in turning back to Him; there is only grace.

We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus, and this is something we must address with urgency and love. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or be saved. **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"* And in **John 14:6**, Jesus Himself says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we plead with you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (**Romans 10:9**). Without this foundation, every other effort to "find God" or improve as a husband and father will lack the power and transformation that only comes through Christ.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother who is seeking Your face once more. Lord, You are the God who searches for the lost sheep, who leaves the ninety-nine to bring back the one who has wandered. We ask that You draw him closer to You than he has ever been before. Strip away every distraction, every sin, every lie of the enemy that has kept him from walking in the fullness of Your love and purpose. Renew his heart, O God, and fill him afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in obedience and passion for You.

Father, we pray for his marriage. Restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and strengthen what has grown weak. Give him a love for his wife that mirrors the sacrificial love of Christ for the Church—a love that is patient, kind, and selfless. Help him to lead his wife spiritually, to cherish her, and to cover her in prayer. Where there has been strife, bring peace. Where there has been distance, bring unity. Where there has been sin, bring repentance and forgiveness.

We pray for him as a father. Grant him wisdom to raise his children in Your ways, to discipline with love, and to model a life of faith before them. Let his home be a place where Your presence dwells, where Your Word is honored, and where his children see the reality of a father who seeks You above all else. Break any generational curses or patterns of sin that may have influenced his parenting, and replace them with Your righteousness and grace.

Lord, if there are areas of his life where he has not fully surrendered to You—whether in his thoughts, his habits, his relationships, or his priorities—we ask that You convict him by Your Spirit. Bring him to true repentance, that he may turn away from anything that dishonors You and walk in the freedom and victory of the cross.

Finally, Father, we pray that he would know the power of the name of Jesus. May he call upon You in truth, not just as a distant God, but as his Savior, his Redeemer, and his Friend. Let him experience the reality of **Philippians 4:13**, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Strengthen him to be the man, the husband, and the father You have called him to be.

We bind every scheme of the enemy that would seek to discourage him, to keep him in bondage, or to distort his understanding of Your love. We declare that he is *yours*, bought with the precious blood of Jesus, and that You will complete the good work You have begun in him (**Philippians 1:6**).

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, to pray without ceasing, and to seek fellowship with other believers who can walk alongside you in this journey. If there are specific sins or struggles you are facing, bring them into the light—confess them to God and, if necessary, to a trusted brother in Christ who can hold you accountable. You are not alone in this. The body of Christ is here to support you, and most importantly, *Jesus is with you*. He is your strength, your hope, and your victory.

Stand firm in Him. He is faithful.
