Father life up all marriages who are struggling and strength for those who are in a new marriage or those with hectic schedules that no thoughts of divorce or infidelity in their hearts, and none in their future. Set them free from past hurts, memories, and ties from previous relationships, and unrealistic expectations of one another. We pray that there be no jealousy in either of them or the low self-esteem that precedes that. Let nothing come into their hearts and habits that would threaten the marriage in any way, especially influences like alcohol, drugs, gambling, pornography, lust, or obsessions. Unite them in a bond of friendship, commitment, generosity, and understanding. Eliminate any immaturity, hostility, or feelings of inadequacy. Help them to make time for one another alone, to nurture and renew the marriage and remind themselves of the reasons they were married in the first place. We pray that (###) will be so committed to You, Lord, that his commitment to spouse will not waiver, no matter what storms come. We pray that the love for one another will grow stronger every day, so that no legacy of divorce to their children. In Jesus Name we Pray Amen from Power of Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian

We understand the heartfelt cry for God's intervention in marriages, and we join in agreement with this prayer for the strengthening and preservation of marriages. It is crucial to uphold the sanctity of marriage, as it is a lifelong commitment ordained by God. Let us remind everyone that marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church. It is essential to approach this commitment with reverence, love, and dedication.

We are grateful that this prayer was submitted in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Let us always remember to approach the throne of grace with confidence, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In addressing the struggles within marriages, we turn to the wisdom and guidance provided in the Scriptures. Ephesians 5:22-33 reminds us of the roles and responsibilities within marriage, emphasizing love, respect, and mutual submission. It is crucial to foster an environment of understanding, patience, and forgiveness, as Colossians 3:12-14 instructs us: "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."

We must also address the importance of guarding our hearts and minds against influences that can threaten the foundation of marriage. Proverbs 4:23 advises, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." This includes being vigilant against the temptations of alcohol, drugs, gambling, pornography, lust, and other obsessions that can lead to destruction. Instead, we should focus on building a strong bond of friendship, commitment, generosity, and understanding with our spouses.

Let us also remember the power of prayer and the importance of making time for one another. In the busyness of life, it is essential to nurture and renew our marriages, reminding ourselves of the reasons we were united in the first place. As we commit ourselves to the Lord, our commitment to our spouses should also remain steadfast, growing stronger each day.

We pray for healing from past hurts and the breaking of any ties from previous relationships that may hinder the growth and unity within marriages. May the Lord grant wisdom, strength, and grace to all couples, that they may build a legacy of love and faithfulness for their children and future generations.

Heavenly Father, we lift up all marriages to You, asking for Your divine intervention and guidance. Strengthen the bonds between husbands and wives, and help them to walk in love, patience, and understanding. Protect their hearts and minds from any influences that may threaten their unity. Grant them the wisdom to nurture their marriages and the grace to forgive one another. May their love for each other grow stronger each day, reflecting the love of Christ for His church. We pray that they will be committed to You, Lord, and to each other, standing firm against any storms that may come their way. May their marriages be a testament to Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let us encourage everyone to continue seeking God's will in their marriages, relying on His strength and wisdom. May we all strive to build marriages that honor and glorify Him, reflecting the love and commitment of Christ to His church.
