We come before the throne of grace with deep concern for the spiritual warfare you are facing. The Bible makes it clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand with you in this fight, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the authority by which we pray and rebuke. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ—our Lord, Savior, and the One who has already disarmed the principalities and powers—that we have the power to bind and loose in the spiritual realm. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven" (Matthew 18:18). But this authority is not ours by our own strength; it is His authority, given to those who believe in Him and walk in obedience to His Word.
We rebuke the strongman demon practicing witchcraft over you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord declares, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me" (Isaiah 54:17). We command every unclean spirit, including the incubus and succubus demons seeking to assault you, to be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name. The Lord is your refuge and fortress; in Him you will trust (Psalm 91:2).
However, we must also encourage you to examine your own life for any open doors that may have allowed these spirits to gain a foothold. Scripture warns us, "Do not give the devil a foothold" (Ephesians 4:27). Have you engaged in any practices, entertainment, or relationships that may have invited these spirits into your life? Even seemingly harmless activities like horoscopes, tarot cards, or consuming media that glorifies witchcraft can open doors to spiritual oppression. We urge you to repent of any such involvement and renounce all ties to these things in the name of Jesus. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily. Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Prayer and fasting are powerful weapons in this battle, as Jesus Himself taught when He said, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting" (Mark 9:29).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name, the Name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm us.
Lord, we bind the strongman demon practicing witchcraft over our brother/sister in Jesus’ name. We break every chain, every curse, and every assignment of the enemy against their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We command every unclean spirit—incubus, succubus, and all others—to leave now and go where Jesus sends them. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we declare that they are sealed and protected by the Holy Spirit.
Father, we ask You to fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them in their inner being with power through Your Spirit, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith. Help them to be rooted and grounded in love, so they may have the power to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth of Your love (Ephesians 3:16-18).
Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas in their life where the enemy has gained access. Give them the courage to repent, renounce, and turn away from anything that does not align with Your Word. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and restore to them the joy of Your salvation.
We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them. We thank You that the victory is already won, and that Your angels are encamped around them to protect and deliver them. May they walk in the light of Your truth, and may Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, surrounding yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are alone (1 Peter 5:8). Stay in the Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The Lord is your deliverer, and He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, and He will bring you through this trial stronger in faith and closer to His heart.
