We join with you in lifting this request before the Lord, standing firm on His unshakable promises. The Scripture declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty assurance we have in our God, who is our fortress and deliverer!
Yet we must also address something vital in your prayer—while you invoked the name of Jesus at the end, we notice that your initial plea was directed to "Dear Lord" without explicitly calling upon the name of **Jesus Christ**, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through the blood of Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and it is in His name that demons flee, strongholds are broken, and protection is secured. Let us always be intentional in calling upon the name of Jesus, for there is power, authority, and salvation in no other name.
We also take note of your plea for protection *"against the one in my home."* While we do not know the specifics of this situation, we must urge you to examine whether this person’s presence aligns with godly wisdom. Scripture warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion has light with darkness?"* If this individual is a source of harm, strife, or ungodly influence—especially if they are not a believer or are engaged in sinful behavior—it may be necessary to seek wisdom on how to address this biblically. This could involve setting godly boundaries, confrontation in love, or, if the situation is dangerous or persistently unrepentant, separation. Proverbs 22:24-25 advises, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* Pray earnestly for discernment, and if this person is an unbeliever, pray for their salvation—but do not remain in a situation where evil is given a foothold.
As for your dogs, we know the Lord cares even for the animals He has created. He fed Elijah through ravens (1 Kings 17:4-6) and preserves all His creatures. Psalm 36:6 tells us, *"You preserve man and animal."* So we lift them before the Lord as well, asking for His keeping power over them.
Now let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Savior, Redeemer, and Strong Tower. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against Your servant will prosper, and we declare that every scheme of the enemy is exposed and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over this Your child. Surround them with Your heavenly host, as Elisha saw in 2 Kings 6:17—chariots of fire and angels encamped around them. Guard them at work, Lord; let no trap set by the wicked succeed. Frustrate the plans of those who seek harm, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their heart.
Lord, we lift up the situation in their home. If there is ungodly influence, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. If this person is an instrument of the enemy, we pray You would either save them and transform their heart or remove them from this home. Give Your child wisdom, courage, and discernment to act in a way that honors You. If boundaries must be set, grant them the strength to do so. If confrontation is needed, fill them with Your love and truth. And if separation is necessary for their safety and spiritual well-being, make the path clear.
We also ask for Your protection over their dogs. You are the Creator of all living things, and we trust You to keep them safe from harm, illness, or attack. Let Your peace rest over that home, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around all within it.
Finally, Father, we pray that You would deepen this beloved one’s reliance on **Jesus alone**. May they grow in the knowledge of His authority, His love, and His power. Let them walk in the assurance that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Fill them with Your Spirit, and let them abide in Christ, where no harm can reach them eternally.
We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for He has already overcome the world. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. We ask all this in the precious, powerful, and holy name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, beloved. The Lord is your refuge, and He will not fail you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28). If you need further counsel or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to stand with you in the truth of God’s Word.
