Stressed

I have a mammogram and ultrasound tomorrow. I'm scared and stressed. My doctor ordered a second mammogram and ultrasound because she saw something on the first one.

Also, I just got into an argument with my landlord. There were some repairs to my roof being done today. My landlord never called to let me know... I came home from work, and the guys were on my roof. Well, I was already stressed due to everything else going on in my life. I thought I would be able to come home to a quiet house and relax a bit. Well, the roofers were still on my roof after dark, so I called my landlord and said it would be nice if you would let me know, it's still my home. I was told to put up with it. So, I got mad and told my landlord that I have rights as a tenant. I was told to move out. The problem is that I can't move out because I don't have the money. I would love to move because I've had ongoing issues with my landlord. Not long ago, I had a problem with mice and was told "not to let them in when I opened the door." Yes, I was told this... it's true. I had to take care of the mice problem. My landlord really didn't do anything about it. Anyway, I hung up on my landlord because I'm just stressed and can't deal with rudeness and disrespect. God, I really need your love and protection over my life. I’m tired of the struggle. It’s always something; it never ends. You know I can’t move out of this house. You know I’m hurting and very unhappy. Please Lord, make my life better. I want to be happy and healthy. I also want the same for Elliot. [a friend who has be struggling with his own health issues] We’ve hurt and suffered for so long. Please have mercy on us Lord…

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name, “Lay Your Hands Upon Me. Bless me in every area of my life that I stand in need to be blessed. Bless me with the spirit, attitude, and wisdom of Joshua. That same spirit of obedience to You, faith in You and Your Word, trusting You, and courage in spite of the spirit of fear trying to conquer him that Joshua had let it rest upon me and within me. Bless me with the spirit and the heart of Joshua. Bless me with that spirit of excellence. God as You were with Joshua Lord please be with me. Let Your presence always dwell with me. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I love and care about.
