We hear the deep stress and anxiety in your heart, and we lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He cares for you and is aware of every detail of your needs. It is good that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. Hebrews 4:16 tells us, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."* You have done well to seek the Lord in this time of need, and we join you in bringing these concerns before Him.
First, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The stress you are feeling about finances, your account, and even the fair is an opportunity to trust God more deeply. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus should remain on seeking His will above all else, trusting that He will provide what you need.
Regarding the situation with your refund and account, we pray that God would intervene and work miraculously on your behalf. We ask that He would soften the hearts of those in authority over this matter, that they would show you favor and understanding. Proverbs 16:7 says, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* While this situation may feel like an opposition, we pray that God would turn it around for your good and His glory. If there has been any misunderstanding or mistake on your part, we ask that the Lord would give you wisdom on how to resolve it biblically, with honesty and integrity. Remember, Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*
We also want to address the stress you are feeling about money for the fair and other expenses. It is important to bring these concerns to the Lord, but also to examine your priorities. Are these things truly necessities, or are they desires? There is nothing wrong with enjoying the blessings of life, but we must be careful not to let our wants overshadow our trust in God’s provision. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* If attending the fair or purchasing certain things would cause undue financial strain, we encourage you to pray for contentment and wisdom in stewarding what the Lord has given you. 1 Timothy 6:6-8 says, *"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that."*
We also pray for your relationship with your parents. The fifth commandment calls us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12), and we encourage you to approach them with humility and respect as you share your needs. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If your parents are able to help, we pray they would do so with willing hearts. If they are unable, we pray the Lord would provide through another means and that you would trust Him even more.
Finally, we want to remind you that stress and anxiety often come when we take our eyes off the Lord and focus on our circumstances. Jesus asks in Luke 12:25-26, *"Which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his height? If then you aren’t able to do even the least things, why are you anxious about the rest?"* Instead of being consumed by worry, we encourage you to fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer. Psalm 37:5 says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* Surrender this situation entirely to Him and trust that He is working, even when you cannot see it.

**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking that You would meet them in this time of stress and anxiety. Lord, You know the details of the refund they are waiting for, the account they fear will be closed, and the financial pressures weighing on their heart. We ask for Your miraculous intervention in each of these areas. Soften the hearts of those in authority over this matter, Lord, and grant favor and understanding. If there has been any error, give wisdom and guidance on how to resolve it with integrity and honesty.
Father, we pray for provision—not just for wants, but for true needs. Help them to trust You fully, knowing that You are their Provider and that You see their situation. If it is Your will for them to attend the fair or purchase what they desire, we ask that You would open the doors and provide the means. But more than that, Lord, we pray for contentment—a heart that rests in You regardless of circumstances.
We lift up their relationship with their parents, asking that You would give them the right words to speak and a humble heart as they share their needs. Soften their parents’ hearts, Lord, and if it is Your will, move them to help. But even if they do not, we pray for a deep trust in You alone.
Lord, rebuking the spirit of anxiety and fear that has taken hold, we declare Your peace over this situation. Remind them that You are sovereign, that You hold their future, and that nothing is too difficult for You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, comforting and guiding them each step of the way.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even in this. May Your name be glorified, and may they walk away from this situation with a stronger faith and a deeper reliance on You.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
