We understand that you're feeling stressed and overwhelmed, and we're here to pray and offer guidance. First, we want to address the anxieties you're experiencing. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
While it's normal to want to look our best, we should remember that our true beauty comes from within, as told in 1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."
We should also remember that God is more interested in our hearts than our outward appearance. This would be an opportunity to remind that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let’s pray in the name of Jesus.
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing our prayers. Lord, we lift up our sister who is feeling stressed and anxious. Please comfort her and grant her Your peace. Lord, we pray for healing for her pain and for her dental issue to be resolved. We also pray for her communication to become easier. Father, we ask that You help her keep her priorities in order and remind her of her true beauty in Your eyes. We pray for her relationship as a courting relationship with the goal of marriage. We pray that her relationship honors You, Lord, and that You would guide her path. Help her have a Christ-like spirit and that this situation will work out for the best. Help her to trust in You Lord and not her external beauty. We pray that she would trust You and not her own understanding for her life. Lord, we pray for her salvation if she has not already accepted You as her Savior. We pray that she would believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, that You sent Him to earth to live a perfect life, take her punishment for her sin and be resurrected from the dead. We pray that she would repent of her sin, including worrying and trust in You Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your focus on God, trusting that He has a plan for you. Remember that He is always with you, and He cares about every detail of your life. Keep your heart aligned with His will, and He will guide your path.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you to focus on your relationship with God and your future spouse rather than external appearances. It's wonderful to want to look nice, but it's important to keep our priorities in check. God wants us to be seeking Him first.
