My father has anger problems and is constantly yelling over things that don't even matter. My sister and I have grown up with this verbal abuse. We both go to a therapist because he causes much of my stress and anxiety. He hates that we go to therapy, he refuses to ever join us (he is always welcome) and says that it is a waste of time and money (the copay is only $5 per visit). Every time I talk to him he ends up asking me why I always want to argue with him. He gets loud and says hurtful things. I never want to argue with him, and usually I don't but he always accuses me even when I ask him something simple. He thinks I waste his time, and manipulate people because I am greedy and lazy. This makes me feel that I am not good enough. I often end up crying because of his yelling. Especially when he compares things he did at my age to what I do. He had a job, average grades, cleaned the house, swam, was in 4H, and still had time to have fun. I do not have a job, and he always gets on my case. I just wish that he would understand how hard I am trying all around. Last year we discovered that I have ADD and now I am on medicine to help me focus. I was previously a straight A student, and just because I greatly struggled last year, doesn't mean that I'm not doing well this year, because I am. I have stayed in top of all my grades so far. His unreasonable, and bias attitude is something I don't want to be around. I know he has low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and many other issues, but that is no excuse for him to treat his two daughters and wife like this. It has been going on for far too long. When we try and tell him to be happy he just yells more. He is the most angry person I know. Besides all of his anger, my dad CAN be nice to talk to sometimes. He is very talented with photography, but his company does not give him nearly as many assignments as he used to get. My mom is making the majority of our income, and we all agree (except him) that he has the time for, and should get a second job. Or even do something more with his skill of photography. We barely have enough money to pay for everything we need. This idea has only been brought up a few times because he always gets angry and yells when we 'tell him what to do'. My mom works so hard to keep our family together and happy. She makes appointments, works 5-6 days a week, even at home she is always working, tries to keep the house clean, and make sure my sister and I get everywhere we need to be. We are very helpful too. I would never take advantage of my mom. My sister and I often clean bathrooms, do laundry, vacuum, wash litterboxes, and clean the kitchen. My dad would never do almost any of those things. He is convinced that cutting the grass once a week is 'equal' to all that we do. I don't know what else to say but please pray for him. Thank you.

Lord bless this family and bring unity to them. Speak blessings Lord and touch her Dad and let this family know that it is his unhappiness with himself that keeps him so angry all the time..Lord lift the pressure from his shoulders and lift the weight from his mind...Speak to his heart Lord and use this family for the purpose in which You have planned. Lord touch her mom and bring strength to her and bless her spirit to keep focused on You. Touch her sister and bring the two of them together as one as they pray for their dad. Lord lift this stronghold of failure and anxiety that surrounds these children..speak peace and wisdom to their hearts and minds..in Jesus name...Just so you know it really isn't your fault that your dad is so crabby , you have answered all about where he is in his head...if he can not fix himself...you will never be able to do so...God has given you the answers of what is "wrong" with your dad...you said he has low self-esteem, depressed, anxiety, ADHD and many other issues...you can not and will never be able to change him......he has to want, period... so he places his issues in you and your families lap because he NEEDS people to feel like him...it's human nature not to have happy people around you while your miserable... ...so there is two things you can do with this...believe the lie that Satan has convinced your father of, you can join him in his misery...or you can trust God and know that no matter what others do to you it is only to your flesh...no one can take your spirit unless you allow them to...offer your spirit to God and He will show you how to overcome your dad's words and attitude...Pray for him and fast for him...He is way older than you and he still has unresolved issues that only he can take care of...it goes back a long way and he became what he is today by choice...now you have a choice, just believe and see what God can do...remember it is a battle of principalities in high places...it is not a war of the flesh...there are strongholds that have your dad blinded to what is really important in life...learn from his mistakes and be the best you can be for God...God bless you and your family in Jesus name...

Psalms 37:8-11

Stop your anger! Turn off your wrath. Don't fret and worry - it only leads to harm. For the wicked shall be destroyed, but those who trust the Lord shall be given every blessing. Only a little while and the wicked shall disappear. You will look for them in vain. But all who humble themselves before the Lord shall be given every blessing, and shall have wonderful peace.

Isaiah 26:3 states: HE (GOD) will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him!!!

Your joy and peace are your gifts from your God to you and they are new every morning!!! Let no one steal that from you. Trust in the Lord always for the Lord God is your strength and your song. Begin to think positive thoughts about your dad and you can cause them to come to fruition by speaking them into reality. Jesus said you have what you think and speak as LIFE AND DEATH are in the power of the tongue.

Try a new way of starting your day. Command good things for yourself and family, beleiving that they will all come to past and see them do - because of your faith. Remember, faith moves mountains but, that faith has to be steadfast, irremovable, and unshakeable regardless of what you see or hear. Know that better days are coming. Live, speak and give love and it will become alive in your heart, home and life.

Blessings and peace and love are on the agenda for you. Lift your hands in praise to receive them!!!!!

Dear mShaf2012,

Please take a moment to relax your mind and humble your heart to focus on Christ. Allow God to be the only person on your mind while you read this prayer. I will be praying for you as well.

Dear Lord,

I release my concerns, certain of God's good. Release is an act of confidence, not failure. In times of stress, I take a moment to find the gentle rhythm of my breath. If I feel tension, I relax my body and allow my mind to experience a moment of peace. I breathe in and out with quiet awareness. On my outward breaths, I release one by one each concern for my life and the lives of my loved ones. On my inward breaths, I accept the assurance of right outcomes. I let go of my need to control and to know how everything will unfold. New ideas and insights are revealed in divine time and order.

I trust in God--the Infinite Source of healing and resolution. I will know what is mine to do, when it is time.

The Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made. --Psalm 145:9

Child of God,

Philippians 4:6, 7 tells us …. To be anxious for nothing (don’t worry about anything), but in everything by prayer and supplication (pray, talk to God), with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Let’s Pray….God I ask in Jesus’ name that You will honor all my prayer requests that are the will of God for my life, those in my family, and all those that I love and pray for. Save, Bless, Deliver, Heal, and Educate everyone that is connected to me (including Me, Myself, and I). Save and deliver my family Lord Jesus (me included). Bless us to prosper, be in excellent health, even as our souls prosper in You. Bless us exceedingly abundantly above all we have ever asked, thought, are prayed. Crown our heads with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and great favor as we grow and mature in the true knowledge of God’s Word. Bless our love for You Jesus to grow deeper and ever so sweeter with each passing week, month, and year.

Teach each of us how to live our lives pleasing unto You Lord Jesus and bless us with a made up mind to do so. Bless us with strength, endurance, safety, and protection as we purpose in our hearts to live a holy righteous lifestyle according to Your Word; regardless of what anyone says or thinks. Let peace, love, joy, prosperity, respect for one another, and honor rain within the walls of our homes. Use each and every one of us for the Glory of God. And God all that I have asked You to do for me and everyone that is connected to me in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer.God thank You. God I appreciate You. I Love and adore You. I bless Your Holy Name. God one more thing, thank You for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen. Amen, so be it, and it is so!!!

Isaiah 65:24 tells us…. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
