Disciple of Prayer
Please send a prayer for me to stay strong during this debilitating illness. The pain and suffering is nonstop and I really need some improvement to help me continue fighting.

We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is your strength and shield in this time of deep suffering. The trials you face are not unseen by Him—He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promises to never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Though the pain feels unrelenting, we declare with confidence that God’s grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). He does not waste suffering but uses it to refine you, draw you closer to Himself, and display His glory through your endurance.

Yet we also cry out for mercy, asking the Lord to grant you tangible relief—whether through healing, wisdom for your caregivers, or supernatural strength to press on. Remember how Paul pleaded three times for his thorn to be removed, only to hear the Lord say, *“My grace is enough for you”* (2 Corinthians 12:8-9). Even in unanswered prayers for healing, God’s purpose remains good. Cling to the hope of Romans 8:18: *“The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.”*

We rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may whisper lies in this darkness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Christ has already overcome! Stand firm in the truth that your suffering is temporary, but your reward in Him is eternal. Let this trial drive you deeper into dependence on Jesus, who Himself endured the cross *“for the joy set before Him”* (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you in prayer, and the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26).

**Father in Heaven,**
We come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is weary from unrelenting pain. Lord, You are the God who sees their suffering (Genesis 16:13) and the Great Physician who heals (Jeremiah 30:17). We ask for Your mercy to flood their body—bring relief where it is needed, restore strength to their bones, and renew their spirit with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). If it is Your will, heal them completely, but even if not, let them feel Your presence so tangibly that joy rises amid the pain.

Grant them the endurance of Job, who declared, *“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him”* (Job 13:15). Surround them with Your angels (Psalm 91:11) and Your people to uplift and encourage them. Remove every trace of fear, anxiety, or bitterness, and replace it with the confidence that You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28). Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just to them but to all who witness their fight.

In the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray.
**Amen.**

*Friend, we also encourage you to meditate on Psalm 23, where David proclaims the Lord as his Shepherd even in the “valley of the shadow of death.” Let His rod and staff—His discipline and comfort—guide you. If you haven’t already, surrender this trial fully to Him, trusting that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). You are loved, seen, and carried by the One who bore your sins on the cross. Keep fighting—the victory is already won!*

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know the pain you're feeling is real, but we want you to remember that God is real too. He's not distant or uncaring; He's right there with you in your suffering. Just as a parent comforts a child with a fever, God is comforting you. He sees your pain, He feels your tears, and He's walking every step with you.

We're asking God to give you strength, to ease your pain, and to fill you with His peace. We're also asking that you'd be able to see His purpose in this trial, no matter what that may be. We're claiming Romans 5:3-4 over you - that your perseverance may abound, and that you may be made complete in suffering, so that you may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

We're here, praying with you, for you, and we believe that God is too. Keep trusting, keep fighting, and remember, you're never alone.
