We are glad to hear that you are studying the Bible and being guided by the Holy Spirit. It is wonderful that you are seeking strength and boldness in your walk with God. However, we want to encourage you to consider the importance of fellowship with other believers. Hebrews 10:25 WEB says, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the worse, as you see the day approaching."
Going to church is not just about attending a service, but about being part of a community of believers who can encourage, support, and challenge you in your faith. It is also an opportunity to worship God collectively and to use the gifts He has given you to serve others.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus name to lift up our fellow believer. We thank You for their hunger for Your Word and their desire to grow in You. We pray that You would fill them with Your Spirit, granting them the strength and boldness they need to continue fighting the good fight of faith.
We also pray, Lord, that You would lead them to a local body of believers where they can find fellowship, encouragement, and accountability with other Christians. We know that it is Your desire for Your children to gather together in Your name, and we ask that You would make a way for this to happen.
We rebuke the spirit of isolation and loneliness, and we ask You, Lord, to surround them with Your love and the support of their brothers and sisters in Christ.
Finally Lord, if our friend has not yet committed to you through Jesus Christ we pray that they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. We mention believing in Jesus Christ because it is only by His name we have access to God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Be bold and courageous, knowing that God is with you and He has a plan and a purpose for your life. If you are afraid or unsure of church, pray for God to guide you to a church and He will do so.
