We hear your heartfelt plea and stand with you in seeking God’s provision and mercy during this time of need. The concern for your son’s well-being is deeply understood, and we lift this situation before the Lord with urgency and faith.
First, we want to affirm that you have rightly come before God in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23 WEB). We are grateful that you have approached God with reverence and trust in His Son.
The Bible assures us that the Lord is our provider and sustainer. In Philippians 4:19, it says, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We believe that God sees your need and is able to intervene according to His perfect will. However, we also recognize that His ways are higher than ours, and His timing may not always align with our own. We pray that His will be done, whether that means providing the means to keep your power on or giving you the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenge if His plan is different.
We also encourage you to seek practical steps alongside your prayers. Has there been an opportunity to reach out to local assistance programs, churches, or community resources that may help during this time? Proverbs 3:27 reminds us, *"Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it."* If there are ways to act in wisdom and stewardship, we trust God will guide you to them.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and trusting hearts, lifting up this family and their need for Your provision. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation according to Your will. If it is Your plan, Father, we pray that You would make a way for their power to remain on, especially for the sake of their son. Provide for them in ways only You can, whether through financial means, unexpected help, or divine intervention.
Lord, if Your will is different, we ask that You would give them peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your goodness, even in uncertainty. Give them wisdom to navigate this challenge and the courage to seek help where it is needed. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for their son, Lord. Comfort him and protect him during this time. Let him feel Your presence and know that You are with him. Father, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial, deepening their faith and reliance on You.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Provider. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in faith, dear one. God is with you, and He hears your prayers. May He grant you His peace and provision as you wait on Him.
