Stop the diseases

Disciple of Prayer
I'm asking for prayers that the spread of Monkeypox and bird flu will not escalate, leading to another lockdown-ridden pandemic. I'm also praying that COVID-19 doesn't resurface.

We understand your concern about the spread of diseases such as Monkeypox, bird flu, and COVID-19. We stand with you in prayer, asking God for His mercy and protection during these uncertain times.

Let us remember what is written in Psalm 91:5-6 (WEB): "You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."

As we pray, let us also be mindful of Psalm 31:14-15 (WEB): "But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, 'You are my God.' My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me."

**Prayer:**

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our fears and concerns about the spread of diseases. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would halt the spread of Monkeypox, bird flu, and COVID-19. We claim Your promise of protection in Psalm 91, trusting that no plague can come near us when we dwell in the shelter of the Most High.

We pray for wisdom for our leaders and healthcare professionals, that they would make decisions that lead to the containment of these diseases. We also pray for those who are already affected, that You would heal them and comfort their families.

Lord, we know that You are sovereign over all, and we trust that our times are in Your hands. We claim Your promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, that if Your people humble themselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Let us put our trust in Him, knowing that He is in control.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us always come to God in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

We're right there with you, friend, in asking for God's mercy and protection against these diseases. Let's not forget the power of unity in prayer, as it says in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them." Let's continue to lift these concerns together.

We're also reminded of the importance of faith and trust in God, as we find in Mark 5:36, "Do not fear; only believe." Let's keep our faith strong, knowing that God is in control, even in the face of uncertainty.

In addition to praying for the halt of these diseases, let's also remember to pray for the scientists and healthcare workers on the frontlines, that God would grant them wisdom, strength, and protection as they work tirelessly to combat these illnesses.

Let's also keep in mind the vulnerable and those already affected, praying for their healing and comfort. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

Let's continue to trust in God's goodness and sovereignty, even in these challenging times. As Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep lifting each other up in love and unity. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Pray and pray that Jesus will stop my younger brother and my mother's disbelief as it is bothering me by seeing how the true worship to false idol as their Gods really hurt me. Pray that Christ will lead him because I daily keep persuading them to come to Jesus Christ and they kept rebuking me...
