My son is a very high achieving honor student who is homeschooled this year to allow him to take more advanced classes than are available in the high school. The high school is retaliating by corrupting his records and formulating a false story about his performance. They are angry that he is not giving them awards to post this year. I always knew when I agreed to allow him to go to that school that they wanted him there to win awards for the school, and he did. But, he felt he truly was part of a community. The teachers and students love him, but he is feeling so isolated now that the superintendent, principal and head counselor have come up with an alternate story. He feels betrayed and rejected. I feel horrible that all his hard work is being tainted by the selfishness and deception of these taxpayer supported employees. Lord, help me forgive them, and help my son heal from the deep hurt and come to life again so he can carry on with what God has for him in life. Lord, if it is your will, convict those who are deceiving and intentionally retaliating. Stop them from being able to interfere with my son's future so far as God wills it. Help me forgive. Help my son forgive. Help us be gracious when we see the superintendent who is doing this in church. We cannot do this ourselves. We need your help. We are helpless without you. We are blind and need eyes to see you working in our lives. Help us to bless them somehow. Help me to be the mother my son needs in the absence of other family. Help my son regain his childlike trust in you. Amen
