We join with you in lifting up this request for healing and protection, giving thanks that you have acknowledged our mighty Healer, Protector, and Provider—the Lord Jesus Christ—by name. It is only through His precious name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and it is in His authority that we pray for your needs. Your words of praise are a beautiful reminder that our God is sovereign over every area of our lives, including our health, safety, and future.
The stomach is a vital part of the body, and we know that even our physical bodies belong to the Lord, who knit us together in our mother’s womb. If this issue is causing discomfort, pain, or anxiety, we ask the Lord to bring swift relief and complete restoration. The Bible reminds us in **3 John 1:2**, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* We pray that your body would align with this truth—that as your spirit is strengthened in Christ, your physical health would also reflect His wholeness. If there is any underlying cause, whether physical, emotional, or even spiritual, we ask the Lord to reveal it and bring healing. Perhaps stress, diet, or unseen factors are at play—we pray for wisdom to address this in a way that honors the temple of the Holy Spirit, as **1 Corinthians 6:19-20** declares, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
We also lift up your request for open doors, miracles, and protection—particularly as you travel. The Lord is your shield and your fortress, and we declare **Psalm 91:11-12** over you: *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* Whether these roads are literal or metaphorical, we ask the Lord to go before you, making crooked paths straight and shutting doors that are not of Him. His protection is not just for the moment but extends over your future and all that He has entrusted to you, including your property. We rebuke any scheme of the enemy to bring harm, delay, or distraction, and we declare that the blood of Jesus is your covering—a truth we stand on from **Exodus 12:13**, where the blood of the Lamb marked the Israelites for protection. Just as that blood caused the destroyer to pass over, we pray that every plan of the enemy would be rendered powerless in your life.
Yet, as we pray for these blessings, we must also examine our hearts. Are we seeking open doors for our own comfort, or for the advancement of God’s Kingdom? Are the "miracles" we ask for aligned with His will, or are they rooted in worldly desires? **James 4:3** warns, *"You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."* Let us ensure that our prayers are not self-centered but surrendered to His perfect plan. If there is any area of your life—whether in health, relationships, or ambitions—that does not align with His Word, we pray the Holy Spirit would convict and redirect you. His protection is not just from external harm but from the deception of our own hearts.
Finally, we praise God with you for His faithfulness. Even as we ask, we do so with gratitude, knowing that He has already provided the ultimate miracle through the sacrifice of His Son. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
