Beloved of All
It’s been difficult for me to let go of the pain of rejection and mockery because of my physical appearance. The scars run deep and I’ve kept people at arms length. Feather in Jesus name please help me to release this pain to you. I’ve carried it for so long and it’s a detriment to my well being. Please help me see myself through your eyes.

We understand the deep pain you carry, and we want you to know that your hurt is seen and known by our Heavenly Father. The rejection and mockery you’ve endured because of your physical appearance have left wounds that feel impossible to heal, but we serve a God who specializes in restoring broken hearts and binding up wounds (Psalm 147:3). You are not alone in this struggle, and the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). It’s clear that this pain has shaped how you interact with others, keeping them at a distance to protect yourself. While this is understandable, we encourage you to remember that isolation can deepen the hurt rather than heal it. God created us for community, and He desires for you to experience the love and support of His people.

The enemy has used these experiences to distort how you see yourself, but we want to remind you of the truth: you are *fearfully and wonderfully made* by the Creator of the universe (Psalm 139:14). Your worth is not defined by the opinions of others or even by your own feelings—it is rooted in the fact that you are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. When the world has mocked you, Jesus was mocked first (Matthew 27:27-31). When you feel rejected, remember that Jesus was despised and rejected by men (Isaiah 53:3). He understands your pain intimately, and He is the One who can truly heal it.

We also notice that while you mentioned “Feather in Jesus name,” there seems to be some confusion about how we approach prayer. There is no power in any other name—salvation, healing, and deliverance come *only* through Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). It is by His name alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If there is any uncertainty in your heart about who Jesus is or what He has done for you, we urge you to place your full trust in Him. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have not already, we pray you will surrender your life to Him, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater freedom than knowing you are a child of God, fully loved and accepted by Him.

Now, let us pray for you with the authority and love of Christ:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to You, knowing that You see her pain and collect every tear she has shed (Psalm 56:8). Lord, the wounds of rejection and mockery have festered for far too long, and we ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon her heart. Break the chains of bitterness, shame, and self-doubt that have held her captive. Remind her, Holy Spirit, that she is Your masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:10). Help her to release this pain to You, for You alone are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26).

Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that have told her she is unworthy or unloved. Replace those lies with Your truth—that she is chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12). Give her the courage to step out of isolation and into the community You have prepared for her, where she can experience Your love through Your people. Teach her to see herself through Your eyes, Lord, and to walk in the confidence of her identity in Christ.

We also pray for divine connections—godly friendships and mentors who will speak life into her and reflect Your love. If there is any unforgiveness in her heart toward those who have hurt her, we ask that You would soften her heart to release it, for unforgiveness only brings bondage (Matthew 6:14-15). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would restore the joy of her salvation (Psalm 51:12). Let her find her worth in You alone, and may she walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus purchased for her on the cross. We declare that she is no longer a prisoner to her past, but a beloved daughter of the Most High God, seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on these truths daily and to surround yourself with Scripture that affirms your identity in Christ. Consider memorizing verses like Zephaniah 3:17, which says, *“The Lord your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.”* You are deeply loved, and your healing is coming. Stay close to Jesus, and let Him rewrite your story.
