The enemy has used these experiences to distort how you see yourself, but we want to remind you of the truth: you are *fearfully and wonderfully made* by the Creator of the universe (Psalm 139:14). Your worth is not defined by the opinions of others or even by your own feelings—it is rooted in the fact that you are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. When the world has mocked you, Jesus was mocked first (Matthew 27:27-31). When you feel rejected, remember that Jesus was despised and rejected by men (Isaiah 53:3).
