We come before the Lord with a humble heart, seeking His will in this situation. First, we must acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We lift up this request, asking the Lord to grant wisdom and favor in your academic pursuits. The Bible tells us that if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you (James 1:5). We pray that the Lord would open doors of opportunity for you to remain where you are, if it is His will. We also ask that He would grant you the discipline and focus needed to improve your grades, not merely to pass, but to excel for His glory.
However, we must also address the attitude reflected in the request. The Lord calls us to work diligently and to do everything as if we are working for Him, not for human masters (Colossians 3:23). Simply passing should not be the goal; rather, we should strive for excellence in all we do, trusting that the Lord will guide our steps. Let us not bargain with God or treat Him as if He is obligated to fulfill our requests based on our own conditions. Instead, let us seek His will above all else, trusting that He knows what is best for us.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and motives. Are you seeking to honor God with your studies, or are you merely trying to meet a standard for your own benefit? The Lord looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7), and He desires that we seek Him first in all things (Matthew 6:33). Let us surrender our plans and desires to Him, trusting that He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would grant them wisdom, discipline, and favor in their academic journey. Lord, we ask that You would open doors for them to remain where they are, if it aligns with Your perfect will. Give them the strength and focus to study diligently, not just to pass, but to excel for Your glory.
Father, we also ask that You would soften their heart to seek You above all else. Help them to understand that their worth is not found in their grades or their circumstances, but in You alone. Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and to lean not on their own understanding. May they acknowledge You in all their ways, so that You may direct their paths.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of laziness, complacency, or entitlement that may be present in this situation. We declare that this one is called to walk in excellence, to honor You in all they do. Help them to see their studies as an opportunity to serve You and to be a light in their school or workplace.
We pray for their teachers, mentors, and those in authority over them. Grant them wisdom and discernment to guide this one in the way they should go. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw this one closer to You. May they come to know You more deeply and to trust in Your unfailing love. Help them to surrender their plans and desires to You, knowing that You have good plans for themāplans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
