Standers encouragment 11/24/08

Hey guys,

I'm pretty sure you have heard from every possible direction that Thanksgiving is this week. Now with that being said its easy to remember all the bad things that are going on in our lives. Its easy to think about all we don't have and how our spouses are not home this holiday.

Its time we stop focusing on the bad things and focus on all the blessings that God has given us in our lives. Too many times we complain about what our spouses have done or said, what others have said, how bad things are, how hopeless and tired we feel. Remember how long Gods chosen people wondered around lost due to their complaining.

Remember to thank God everyday and not just this thanksgiving.

We all have homes, food, people praying for us, a Lord that loves us and is fighting for us, friends, and promises from God that we just have to wait for.

Thank you Lord for your promises, another day of life, food, air, homes, a relationship with your son Jesus and your Holy Spirit. Thank you in advance for bringing our spouses and families home restored and safe.
