Standers encouragement 08/26/08

I am asking everyone to remember to lean on Jesus for the salvation of our spouses, our strength and faith to be boosted, and restoration of our marriages.

We need the strength of our Lord Jesus to make it through this fight because without him we can do nothing. Standers to lean on him right now.

Some of us have not seen or heard from our spouses in months and fear that they have forgotten about you and your children. Others hear from their spouses frequently but then are left to wonder why they still wont come home. Though things look all but impossible remember that ALL things are possible with God and rest assured that he hears our cries and is working on the other side of your mountain. Although you may find yourself down today let the Lord pick you back up. God is never down or out.

Remember to offer your tears and prayers to the Lord but also offer your praise and thanks. Trust and await his pending miracles of healing and restoration.

The bible says that God hates divorce and therefore we are standing in agreement with God himself . We may be separated or facing divorce now but no matter how impossible things look never let satan claim your victory.

I am praying and believing that God will continue to talk and touch spouses and families. But I am also praying that he talks to us standers and families also. Remember to pray for your relationship with the Lord and for the healing of your own heart. Pray that standers and prodigals alike will the voice of Jesus and respond to it.

satan resides in hell, dont let him take your spouse, marriage, family or your own joy with him.

Jesus, we pray you just perform a miracle in each troubled marriage, and bring each couple back to the table to talk and work things out. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.

Lord Jesus. We lift us this mighty prayer warrior and one of the leaders among the standers. Your word is infallible. It will not return void but accomplish that which it was sent. These standers are waiting for you to accomplish that in their lives. You do hate divorce. The father of all lies is wreacking havoc and raining down his fiery darts on all but we are not afraid. We stand firm. We are on solid rock not sinking sand. We know that you can bring healing and restoration in each one of these lives. I rebuke satan and command him to get out of the way in Jesus name. I bind him and cast him and his lies into the ocean depths where they can harm no one. May you protect the spouses and bring them back safely. May you restore the lives that have been torn apart at the seams. May you place your mighty shield in front of them thwarting the arrows of the enemy. May you open the hearts of the loved ones and whisper into their ears to go home where they belong. Thank you Lord Jesus for your promises. Thank you for being our lighthouse in the storms of life. The Bible never said we wouldn't have these storms but it tells us over and over that you are our shelter. Thank you. Amen
