We come before the Lord with you in this time of distress, lifting up your cry for protection and deliverance from those who seek to harm you. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. *"Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2). He sees the wickedness of those who stalk and harass, and He will not allow the enemy to triumph over His children. The Lord is just, and He will bring their schemes to nothing.
The Bible is clear that God fights for His people. *"Don’t be afraid of them. Remember Yahweh, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses"* (Nehemiah 4:14). We declare that the Lord will confuse and thwart the plans of those who seek your harm. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may plot, but the Lord will overturn their intentions for your good and His glory.
We also pray specifically for the cancellation of the event scheduled for tomorrow that has been designed to bring you harm. The Lord has authority over all things, and He can shut doors that no man can open. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1). May God intervene and render their plans powerless, turning their evil intentions back upon themselves. Let them be exposed and let their own devices be their downfall, as it is written: *"The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming"* (Psalm 37:12-13).
We also encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that fear is not from the Lord. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Do not let the enemy’s tactics cause you to waver in trust. Instead, cling to the promise that *"many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all"* (Psalm 34:19). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who has already overcome the world. *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33).
Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom all things are made possible. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'"*(John 14:6). *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). We urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ alone if you have not already, for He is the only mediator between God and man. If you have already trusted in Him, we encourage you to boldly pray in His name, for the Father delights to honor the prayers of His children when they come in the name of His Son.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack by those who seek to harm them. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You have promised to contend with those who contend with Your people. We ask that You rise up as a mighty warrior on their behalf, confusing and defeating the plans of the enemy. Let every scheme formed against them be exposed and rendered powerless. Father, we specifically ask that You cancel the event planned for tomorrow that is intended to bring harm. Shut every door that the enemy seeks to open and turn their evil intentions back upon themselves.
Lord, we ask that You surround our brother/sister with Your divine protection. Place a hedge of thorns around them that the enemy cannot penetrate. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm in faith without fear.
We rebuke the spirits of stalking, harassment, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We command these spirits to flee and to be bound, never to return. Father, bring conviction to the hearts of those who are carrying out these evil acts. Let them be confronted with the weight of their sin and turn to You in repentance. If it is Your will, soften their hearts that they may seek forgiveness and turn from their wicked ways.
Lord, we also pray for our brother/sister’s strength and perseverance. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your promises. Remind them that You are their defender and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Fill them with Your joy and peace as they rest in Your care.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
