We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up these requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we understand the frustration of losing something important, like your pink winter gloves. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:19-21, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." While it’s natural to feel upset over lost items, let us remember that our true treasure is found in Christ. We pray that the Lord would calm your heart and help you find those gloves, or provide what you need in this season. Father, we ask that You guide their steps to rediscover what has been lost, or grant peace if it is Your will for them to let it go.
We also lift up your mother’s health with great urgency. Chest pain is not something to take lightly, and we join with you in praying for her protection and healing. Scripture assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We boldly declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may be trying to take hold. Lord, we ask that You touch her body, ease her pain, and guard her heart. Give wisdom to any medical professionals involved, and if it is Your will, spare her from hospitalization. We trust in Your mercy and power to restore her fully.
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are most powerful when we come to God through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all our prayers and the source of true hope.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would help [###] find what has been lost, or provide peace and provision in its absence. Lord, we lift up their mother to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon her. Ease her pain, calm her fears, and restore her to full health. Give wisdom to those caring for her, and let Your will be done in her life. We rebuke any spirit of sickness or fear, and we declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus. Father, we also pray for [###], that they would know Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and that they would draw closer to You in this time. Strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your presence surrounding them. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, Provider, and Savior. Amen.
