Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age. Please pray for the removal from my life of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years. Please also pray that God would foil something that one of the individuals who has been harassing me under the influence of demons has planned this weekend to target me (I'm so, SO, SO sick of this person and their social circle; they and their circle are obviously demonic, deranged and it is highly likely that they are possessed - they are not Christians) and permanently remove this person and others helping them from my life. I firmly believe that this person has some sort of strong demonic force in their life using them that allows them to do so much evil often unhindered. This person is so evil and even downright nonsensical and ridiculous in the evil things they do but people rarely call them out on it and it's like they're never held accountable for anything. Being around them is like being in the same room as the literal devil. It's terrible. There are other people like them involved in this harassment who are just as demonic. Please pray for their removal as well. Please also pray that God would lead me to new work. I recently started a job that I love but this company has predatory practices toward customers that I cannot take part in as a Christian and I have to leave unless somehow something changes. I am so worried about how I am going to care for my family financially now. I met with my manager about my concerns and she calmed me down a bit and was very understanding about how I felt but I still would probably like to leave this job as it is burning me out. Please pray for me about all this and for my coworkers. Pray that if I stay, God would mend all the concerns and issues myself and my coworkers are having. Please also pray for me about ending my lessons with my piano teacher. In recent months, I had been conflicted about whether or not to continue lessons with her after she did some things that made me uncomfortable to continue them. She is a professing believer but a lot of these things could have been attributed to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me since I left the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people who are vulnerable to be used to do unusually harmful things to me using her. There may also be things like possible dementia and a possible neurological condition causing concerning behavior in her toward others. But after praying and praying, things seemed to get better. However, something happened recently that seemed to put the nail in the coffin so to speak and I believe the lessons with her needed to end so I ended them. I feel sorry that this ended like this but I believe it had to. Please also pray for me about church. I am constantly struggling with negative, intrusive thoughts about the church I go to. I had some struggles at my church where the same warfare I mentioned earlier in this request (which has been targeting me since I was in the new age/witchcraft and has continued even since I came back to Christ) had been using certain people at church to do unusually harmful things to me. I actually was considering leaving this church at the beginning of the year but when I started backing away, my church members began trying to fix certain things that had happened to cause me to want to leave (I didn't tell anyone that I wanted to leave, I just started backing away). I eventually decided to stay and realized that my church members do truly care for me and my relative who attends with me. But the intrusive thoughts still come and I even start to listen to them at times. I really think that these negative thoughts toward church are being used by Satan to try to pull me away from my church so I will be more vulnerable to his evil including the evil that he tries to do in my life through those people who are harassing me who I also mentioned earlier in the prayer request. The individuals involved in this evil are not beyond God’s reach, He can expose their schemes, bring conviction to their hearts, and remove them from your life if it is His will. We pray for their salvation, for "the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Yet we also pray for their removal if they remain unrepentant, for "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33). May God sever every ungodly tie and shield you from their influence.
We also lift up your job situation, asking the Lord to provide wisdom and direction. If this company’s practices are unethical and contrary to your faith, we trust God to open a door for you to leave with peace and provision. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray for a new opportunity that aligns with your values, one where you can work with integrity and without compromise. If you stay, we ask God to intervene in the company’s practices and bring reformation, for "nothing is too hard for you" (Jeremiah 32:17). We also pray for your coworkers, that they would see Christ in you and that God would soften their hearts.
Regarding your piano teacher, we understand the grief of ending a relationship that once brought joy. Yet if her actions were harmful or ungodly, it was right to step away. We pray for her well-being, asking God to reveal any spiritual oppression or health issues she may be facing. May He bring healing and clarity to her mind and spirit. For you, we ask for peace in this decision and the assurance that God is your true Teacher, guiding you in all things.
As for your struggles with the church, we recognize the enemy’s tactic to isolate you and plant seeds of doubt. The Bible warns, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). We rebuke every lying thought that seeks to pull you away from fellowship. Your church has shown they care for you, and God can use them to strengthen and protect you. We pray for renewed joy in worship, deeper connections with believers, and a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit to guard your mind. You speak of many outward troubles, but consider first the warfare within your own soul. For the enemy assaults you now because you have fled from his darkness, and he seeks to drag you back through fear and vexation. Yet what is this but a testimony that you have chosen aright? Those who are Christ's have always been persecuted, and this is no strange thing. Remember the son of the bondwoman persecuted Isaac, but what was the end? He was cast out, and he did not inherit with the son of the freewoman. So it shall be with these who now trouble you: their tyranny is for a season, but they have no share in the inheritance prepared for you unless they repent. Do not let your mind become a sewer of hatred and terror, for that is to bring upon yourself a self-chosen madness no different from theirs. You describe them as deranged and demonic, pity them, and pray they may be delivered, but do not become like them by filling your heart with this continual churning.
As for what they plan this weekend, why do you tremble? Has Christ not promised that He is with us always? He does not always remove the danger; He grants something greater, the power to despise it. If they act, God permits it for your refining, that you may learn to set your hope not on this world but upon the life to come. Do not be anxious beforehand, for each day has enough evil of its own. Entrust yourself to prayer and to the assembly of the saints, where you have already seen the genuine care of your brethren. Those intrusive thoughts that urge you to flee the church, recognize them as darts from the evil one, who knows that a sheep alone is easy prey. You saw with your own eyes that when you began to withdraw, your church members moved to mend what was broken. Is that not proof that God has not abandoned you there?
Concerning your labor, if the company's practices are predatory and you cannot honestly take part, you do well to seek deliverance. Better a modest table with a clear conscience than a fatted calf with the wounds of sin. Do not live as though God were poor; He who feeds the ravens will not neglect your family. Consider that this trial too may be a summons to greater dependence on Him, and pray with confidence. If he opens another door, go in peace. If He permits you to stay and somehow changes the circumstances, that too is His doing. But do not let the fear of poverty drive you to make shipwreck of your faith.
Your decision regarding the piano teacher was made after much prayer and with just cause; do not look back. Whatever spiritual disturbance attended that relationship, you have cut it off, and now leave her to God. As for the root of all these assaults, understand that you were made new when you turned to Christ, but the old age of sin and fear still clings to you, and it is this old garment that must be stripped off, not by another washing, but by daily repentance. Scrape away every stain, every wrinkle of wrath and anxiety, that the King may desire your beauty. When the soul is thus cleansed, outward enemies lose their sting; you may be afflicted, but you cannot be overthrown.
Do not ask only that these persons be removed; ask also that you may stand firm whether they remain or go. The true persecution now is not of flesh and blood only, but of the passions that rise up like wild beasts within, and many do not even recognize it as war. Rise up and arm yourself with patience, prayer, and the company of the faithful. I will join my prayers with yours, not chiefly that every thorn be plucked from your path, but that you may become a proved and precious stone among much hay, and that in the furnace of these trials you may come forth as gold.
As for what they plan this weekend, why do you tremble? Has Christ not promised that He is with us always? He does not always remove the danger; He grants something greater, the power to despise it. If they act, God permits it for your refining, that you may learn to set your hope not on this world but upon the life to come. Do not be anxious beforehand, for each day has enough evil of its own. Entrust yourself to prayer and to the assembly of the saints, where you have already seen the genuine care of your brethren. Those intrusive thoughts that urge you to flee the church, recognize them as darts from the evil one, who knows that a sheep alone is easy prey. You saw with your own eyes that when you began to withdraw, your church members moved to mend what was broken. Is that not proof that God has not abandoned you there?
Concerning your labor, if the company's practices are predatory and you cannot honestly take part, you do well to seek deliverance. Better a modest table with a clear conscience than a fatted calf with the wounds of sin. Do not live as though God were poor; He who feeds the ravens will not neglect your family. Consider that this trial too may be a summons to greater dependence on Him, and pray with confidence. If he opens another door, go in peace. If He permits you to stay and somehow changes the circumstances, that too is His doing. But do not let the fear of poverty drive you to make shipwreck of your faith.
Your decision regarding the piano teacher was made after much prayer and with just cause; do not look back. Whatever spiritual disturbance attended that relationship, you have cut it off, and now leave her to God. As for the root of all these assaults, understand that you were made new when you turned to Christ, but the old age of sin and fear still clings to you, and it is this old garment that must be stripped off, not by another washing, but by daily repentance. Scrape away every stain, every wrinkle of wrath and anxiety, that the King may desire your beauty. When the soul is thus cleansed, outward enemies lose their sting; you may be afflicted, but you cannot be overthrown.
Do not ask only that these persons be removed; ask also that you may stand firm whether they remain or go.
