We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the power to break every chain of spiritual oppression. Your journey out of the new age movement and into the light of Christ is not unnoticed by the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The warfare you are experiencing is real, but it is not without end or hope, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2).
First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life in the name of Jesus. We break every curse, hex, or spiritual tie that has been spoken or enacted against you, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). We command every unclean spirit influencing these individuals to flee from them and from your life, for Jesus has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We pray that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened to see the truth of the gospel, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18).
Father God, we ask that You would surround this dear one with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from every scheme of the enemy. Psalm 34:7 tells us, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." We pray that You would assign Your angels to dismantle every plan of the enemy set against them this weekend and every day thereafter. Foil the works of darkness, Lord, and let Your light expose and scatter them. We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for the removal of these individuals from their life, not out of hatred, but out of a desire for godly boundaries and peace. Father, if it is Your will, remove these people permanently from their path, that they may walk in the freedom and peace You have promised. Lead them away from toxic influences and surround them with godly, Christ-centered relationships that will edify and encourage them in their faith. "Do not be deceived: 'Evil company corrupts good habits'" (1 Corinthians 15:33). We ask that You would bring godly friendships and mentors into their life who will sharpen them in the faith and hold them accountable to Your Word.
Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds left by these spiritual battles. Pour Your balm of Gilead over their heart and mind, bringing comfort, restoration, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the armor You have provided: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17). May they find their strength in You alone, for You are their rock, their fortress, and their deliverer (Psalm 18:2).
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that while the enemy is real and his attacks are relentless, we do not war against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Though these individuals may be used as vessels of the enemy, our battle is not against them personally, but against the spiritual forces influencing them. This does not mean we tolerate their behavior or allow them to continue in harm, but we must guard our hearts against bitterness and unforgiveness, for these are tools the enemy would love to use against us. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). We pray that God would give you the grace to forgive, not for their sake, but for your own freedom and healing.
Father, we also lift up this individual’s past involvement in the new age movement. We ask that You would cleanse them from any lingering ties, practices, or influences that are not of You. Your Word warns us, "Don’t turn to mediums or to wizards. Don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God" (Leviticus 19:31). We renounce any agreements made with false spirits, idols, or philosophies that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. We declare that this person is a new creation in Christ; the old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and lead them into all truth (John 16:13).
Lastly, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. The enemy would love nothing more than to see you grow weary and lose heart, but we serve a God who is faithful and just. He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Find a solid, Bible-believing church where you can grow in fellowship with other believers, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, lifting you up in prayer.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the cries of Your children. We ask that You would arise and scatter the enemies of this dear one. Let Your light expose every hidden work of darkness, and let Your peace reign in their heart and mind. Break every chain, Lord, and set them free from the oppression of the enemy. Surround them with Your love, protection, and provision. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. We thank You, Father, that You are a God who fights for us, and we rest in the shadow of Your wings. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
