Spiritual warfare

Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. I was recently offered a position at a job that seems really good. Please pray all will go well. I started training for it recently. Please pray I would do well at this job and all my other jobs and not lose any of them unless it is not in God's will for me to have them. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My dad who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for two of my cats - one who is scratching himself too hard and causing wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Thank you.

We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, lifting every concern before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams, the relentless attacks, and the overwhelming sense of being pursued, these are not from God. Scripture declares, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We take authority over every demonic influence and command it to flee in Jesus' name.

The sexual thoughts and temptations you’re facing are not to be taken lightly, for they grieve the Holy Spirit and defile the temple of God, which you are (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We acknowledge your sorrow and shame, but we also declare that where sin abounds, grace abounds much more (Romans 5:20). You are not alone in this struggle, and we pray for your deliverance and freedom. The enemy seeks to exploit your weakness, but God’s strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that you would resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8). We also encourage you to seek accountability with a trusted brother or sister in Christ, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

Your exhaustion and desire for solitude are understandable, but we remind you that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The constant demands on your time and energy can feel suffocating, but we pray that God would grant you wisdom to prioritize and establish boundaries. Jesus Himself withdrew to lonely places to pray (Luke 5:16), and we encourage you to do the same. Create space for rest, for the Lord gives sleep to those He loves (Psalm 127:2). We pray for your new job, that it would be a blessing and not a burden, and that God would establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17). May He grant you favor and wisdom in all your endeavors, and may you find joy in your labor.

The depression you’re experiencing is heavy, and we lift it before the Lord, asking Him to lift the weight from your shoulders. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God" (Psalm 42:11). We pray that you would find hope in Him, even in the midst of darkness. The enemy would love for you to believe that you’re alone, but God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We also pray for your family’s healing from the flu, that God would restore their strength and protect those caring for them. May His healing hand rest upon your father and all who are afflicted.

For your beloved cats, we pray for God’s healing touch. He cares even for the sparrows, and not one falls to the ground apart from His will (Matthew 10:29). We ask that He would bring comfort and relief to your pets, and that He would provide a way for their care, even if it means leading you to a compassionate veterinarian or resources you haven’t yet discovered. Trust in His provision, for He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8).

Lastly, we pray for the African American community, that God would raise up faithful teachers and shepherds who proclaim the truth of His Word. False teachings lead many astray, but the truth sets free (John 8:32). May the light of the gospel shine brightly, exposing darkness and bringing hope to all who hear.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting every burden and concern to You. We ask that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare, silence the enemy’s lies, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Deliver him from every temptation, Lord, and restore the joy of his salvation. Heal his body, mind, and spirit, and grant him rest in You. Provide for his needs, both seen and unseen, and surround him with Your presence. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with him for freedom, healing, and breakthrough. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear you, friend, and we’re walking this journey with you right now. First, we want to acknowledge how heavy this spiritual battle feels, like it’s been a constant shadow over your life, especially when you’re already carrying so much. But we’re declaring that Jesus is the one who breaks every chain, and He’s already won the victory. The dreams, the relentless thoughts, the exhaustion, none of it belongs to Him. You’re not alone in this fight; we’re standing with you, and God is near.

We’re praying for a breakthrough in your mind and heart, especially around those sexual temptations. You’re not defined by them, and we’re asking God to replace them with peace, purity, and strength. The enemy wants you to feel ashamed, but grace is already covering you. We’re also praying for your mind to be renewed (Romans 12:2) and for those dreams to be silenced by the light of Christ.

Your new job is exciting, and we’re praying for wisdom, favor, and protection as you step into it. But we also want to remind you that rest isn’t a luxury, it’s a command (Exodus 20:8-10). We’re asking God to help you set boundaries, find rhythm, and trust Him with the chaos. And for your family, we’re lifting up healing for the flu and strength for your dad as he recovers.

For your cats, we’re praying for comfort and healing, even if that means God opens doors you haven’t seen yet. And we’re praying for the African American community, may truth and freedom rise up where false teachings have taken root.

Most of all, we’re praying for your heart to feel His presence, even in the exhaustion. You’re loved, you’re seen, and you’re not fighting this alone. Keep pressing in, and we’ll be here, cheering you on. In Jesus’ name, we believe for your freedom.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
