We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the principalities and powers of darkness through His victory on the cross. Since you have returned to Christ, you are no longer under the dominion of the enemy, for "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love" (Colossians 1:13). The spiritual warfare you are experiencing is real, but it does not have the final say—Christ does.
The new age is a deceptive counterfeit of true spirituality, often rooted in occult practices, false teachings, and the worship of created things rather than the Creator. When you left that path, you rejected the lies of the enemy, and he does not give up his captives easily. But Scripture declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You are not fighting for victory—you are fighting from victory. The blood of Jesus has already secured your freedom.
We must also address the importance of renouncing any lingering ties to new age beliefs or practices. Have you explicitly renounced all involvement with divination, energy healing, meditation techniques that empty the mind, or any other practices that open doors to demonic influence? The Bible warns, "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If there is anything you have not yet surrendered to the Lord, now is the time to do so in Jesus’ name.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs. Truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God are your weapons. Prayer and fasting are powerful tools to break strongholds, as Jesus said, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting" (Mark 9:29). Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name. We thank You for Your deliverance and for the freedom You have already secured for [this brother/sister] through the cross. Lord, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against [him/her] and declare that no weapon formed against [him/her] shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of spiritual warfare, every lie, every curse, and every demonic attachment in Jesus’ name.
We ask You, Holy Spirit, to fill [him/her] with Your presence and power. Strengthen [him/her] with might in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in [his/her] heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Lord, we pray that You would close every door the enemy has tried to use to gain access. We renounce every new age practice, every false teaching, and every ungodly soul tie in the name of Jesus. Let Your light expose every hidden darkness, and let Your truth set [him/her] free indeed (John 8:32).
We declare that [he/she] is a child of God, seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). No weapon formed against [him/her] shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against [him/her] in judgment, [he/she] shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over [his/her] mind, body, spirit, and soul. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard [his/her] heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You would raise up intercessors and godly mentors to walk alongside [him/her] during this time. Surround [him/her] with Your angels to protect and defend. Teach [him/her] to wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and to stand firm in the authority You have given [him/her] as a believer.
We thank You, Lord, that the battle is already won. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. May [he/she] walk in the fullness of Your freedom, joy, and purpose, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The enemy may roar, but he is a defeated foe. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Fill your mind with Scripture, your heart with worship, and your life with godly fellowship. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone—He is with you, and so are we.
