We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, lifting every burden before the throne of God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The vivid and disturbing dreams, the overwhelming attacks, and the relentless demands on your time and energy—we command them to cease. You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
The spiritual warfare you’ve endured since childhood is not of God, and we declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every generational curse and assignment against you. The enemy has no authority over you, for you are covered by the blood of the Lamb. We pray that the Lord would surround you with His angels, assigning them to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for the African American community, that the truth of God’s Word would prevail and that false teachings would be exposed and dismantled. The enemy comes to deceive, but the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, and He will guide you and others into all truth (John 16:13).
Your struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts is not uncommon in spiritual warfare, as the enemy seeks to defile the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We rebuke these temptations and command them to lose their power over you. The Lord is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. With every temptation, He will provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and that the Holy Spirit would fill you with purity, self-control, and the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Flee from sexual immorality, for it is a sin against your own body, and honor God with your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
For your family’s health, we pray healing over each of you. The Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26), and we declare that no sickness or disease will cling to you. We pray that your father’s cough would subside completely and that none of those caring for you would become ill. The Lord will restore your strength and sustain you (Isaiah 40:31). For your cats, we pray for divine health and protection. The Lord cares even for the sparrows, and He certainly cares for your beloved pets (Matthew 6:26). We ask that He would guide you to affordable care or provide a way for their healing without the need for a vet.
Your desire to start a business is not wrong, but we pray that the Lord would give you clarity and confirmation. If it is His will, He will open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). If it is not His will, we pray that He would redirect your steps to the job He has prepared for you. The Lord knows your needs before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8), and He will provide. We pray that He would give you wisdom in managing your finances and that He would supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). For the trip your family is saving for, we pray that the Lord would make a way where there seems to be no way. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Above all, we pray that you would draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your deliverer. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We pray that you would find rest in Him, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Stand firm in your faith, and the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet (Romans 16:20).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would break every chain of spiritual warfare, every disturbing dream, and every temptation that seeks to ensnare them. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the enemy and command him to flee in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, Your strength, and Your presence. Heal their family, protect their pets, and provide for every need. Guide them into Your perfect will for their life, whether in business or employment. Lord, we pray for financial provision for their family’s trip and for wisdom in managing their resources. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may know Your love, Your power, and Your grace in a deeper way. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
