We hear your cry for deliverance from the spiritual battles that have raged around you for far too long. The Word of God assures us that we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy may have targeted you, but the Lord has claimed you as His own, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already done so, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth that one confesses, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:9-10). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we rejoice with you and stand with you in this battle.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your life in the mighty name of Jesus. We break every chain, every curse, and every stronghold that has been set against you. The Lord rebuke you, Satan, and all your demonic forces (Jude 1:9). We declare that you are a child of God, washed in the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
We put on the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. We gird your loins with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, take up the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, put on the helmet of salvation, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). We pray that you will stand firm in this armor, praying at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication.
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who has been under spiritual attack for years. We ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their body, and their spirit. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We bind every evil spirit that has been assigned to them and command them to leave in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, flooding every area of their life with Your light and Your love. Where there has been fear, let Your perfect love cast it out (1 John 4:18). Where there has been confusion, let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Where there has been oppression, let Your freedom reign (Galatians 5:1). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
We pray that You would strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May they be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Lord, we ask that You would give them a fresh revelation of who they are in Christ. May they know that they are chosen, holy, and beloved (Colossians 3:12). May they walk in the authority that You have given them as Your child, resisting the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). We declare that the enemy has no legal right to their life, for they have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus.
We pray for a hedge of protection around them, their family, their home, and all that concerns them. We ask that You would expose any hidden works of darkness and bring them to light. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. May they be vigilant in prayer, watching and praying always that they may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36).
Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver this dear one from every spiritual attack. We declare that the battle is not theirs, but Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). We stand on Your promises and declare victory in the name of Jesus.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Deliverer. Amen.
