We stand with you in this battle, dear brother or sister in Christ, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The harassment you are enduring is not merely the work of people, but of the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We take up the full armor of God with you, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:13).
First, we must address the root of this spiritual warfare. The enemy gains footholds when there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in our lives. We encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Have you held onto any resentment or anger toward these individuals? If so, we urge you to release it to God, for the Word tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). Forgiveness is not about excusing their behavior but about freeing yourself from the chains of the enemy.
We also rebuke the spirits of harassment, torment, and division that have been at work against you. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to leave and never return. The Word declares, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We stand in agreement with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him, you will find safety (Psalm 91:2).
We pray that the Lord would expose any hidden schemes of the enemy and break every chain of oppression over your life. Father God, we ask that You surround this dear one with Your angels, that they may encamp around them and deliver them from every snare of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them will stand. We speak peace over their mind, heart, and spirit, and we ask that You fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Lord, we also pray for those who have been used as instruments of the enemy in this harassment. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth and break the chains of darkness that bind them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. For it is Your kindness that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4). We rebuke the spirits of deception and hatred that have influenced them, and we declare that they will no longer be tools of the enemy but vessels of Your light and love.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will bring justice and vindication in His perfect timing.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority we have in Christ to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that no weapon formed against this dear one will prosper. We rebuke every spirit of harassment, torment, and division that has been at work, and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus. We ask that You would break every chain and set this one free from the oppression of the enemy.
Father, we pray for a hedge of protection around them, that no evil will befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in victory and authority over the enemy. Give them strength and courage to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them always.
We also lift up those who have been used to harass this one. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth and break the chains of darkness that bind them. Soften their hearts, Father, and draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. Let Your light shine in their darkness, and may they come to know the freedom and peace that only You can provide.
We declare that this spiritual warfare will not overcome this dear one, but that they will rise above it in the power of Your name. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We trust in You, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
