We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who has endured spiritual warfare from a young age. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Christ came that we might have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10). The battles you face are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we do not fight alone—our God is a mighty warrior, and in His name, we stand firm.
First, we must address the authority we have in Jesus Christ. If this request does not come from a heart that has surrendered to Him as Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of Scripture: "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we pray that today would be the day of your salvation (Romans 10:9). Only in His name can we approach the Father and find true victory over spiritual warfare.
Now, we take up the full armor of God, as Ephesians 6:13-18 instructs us: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We pray this armor over you, binding every scheme of the enemy that has sought to oppress you since childhood. We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, confusion, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up your workplace and your colleagues, asking the Lord to grant favor, peace, and productivity today. May the light of Christ shine through you, and may any spiritual attacks aimed at disrupting your work be thwarted. "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1). We pray for divine protection over your company, that it would operate in integrity and excellence, honoring the Lord in all things.
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a body of believers, united in faith and intercession. We ask that You break every chain of spiritual warfare that has targeted this precious one. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and boldness. We declare that the enemy has no foothold in their life, for they are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that they may recognize the schemes of the devil and stand firm in the truth. May they be rooted and grounded in Your Word, finding strength and encouragement in its promises. Surround them with godly fellowship, that they may be sharpened and supported by brothers and sisters in Christ.
Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Jesus. We thank You that the battle belongs to You, and that You have already disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We stand on this truth today, declaring that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper. We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, for joy unspeakable and full of glory, and for a testimony that brings glory to Your name.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
