We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who has endured spiritual warfare since childhood. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against this life in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we ask that You break every chain of oppression, fear, and torment that has sought to bind this one for so long. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, surround them with Your heavenly hosts, that no arrow of the enemy may find its mark. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against them, for they are covered by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11).
We also lift up their household needs before You, Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. You know every need before it is even spoken, and You are faithful to supply all things according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Provide for their every need—whether it be food, finances, or peace in their home—before the weekend is over. Give them wisdom to steward what You have entrusted to them, and let Your provision be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Lord, we ask that You strengthen their faith in this season. When the enemy whispers lies of lack or fear, let them stand on Your promises. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage this one to put on the full armor of God daily, that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Pray in the Spirit at all times, and stay alert, persevering in prayer for all the saints.
If there are areas in your life where the enemy has gained a foothold—whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or compromise—we urge you to repent and turn away from those things. The enemy has no legal right to oppress a child of God who is walking in obedience and righteousness. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Lastly, we remind you that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). You are not fighting alone—Jesus has already won the victory! Fix your eyes on Him, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the authority He has given you as His child.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, peace, and provision over their household. May Your name be glorified in every area of their life, and may they experience the fullness of Your presence and power in this season. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
