We lift this heavy heart before the Lord, recognizing that the silence from someone dear to you is not just a relational struggle but indeed a battle in the spiritual realm. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy the bonds of love and fellowship that God has ordained, and we must stand firm in faith, wielding the weapons of our warfare which are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
First, we must examine our own hearts and ensure that we are walking in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. If there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness in our hearts, we must repent and seek the Lord’s cleansing. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let us also forgive this individual, just as Christ has forgiven us, so that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble (Hebrews 12:15).
We rebuke the spirit of division, confusion, and hardness of heart that has come between you and this person. The enemy desires to isolate and create strife, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We command every lying spirit, spirit of offense, and spirit of pride to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).
We pray that the Lord would soften this person’s heart, just as He softened Pharaoh’s heart before the Israelites were freed. May the Holy Spirit convict them of any sin, pride, or rebellion that has caused this separation. "Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them" (Psalm 51:10). We ask that You would remove any scales from their eyes and open their ears to hear Your voice, that they may turn back to You and to those who love them.
Father, we ask that You would grant us—those who are waiting and praying—patience, love, and wisdom as we trust in Your perfect timing. Help us not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Teach us to love this person as You love them, with a love that is patient, kind, not self-seeking, and keeps no record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-5).
We also pray for protection over this individual. If they are being influenced by ungodly counsel or walking in darkness, we ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). Draw them back to You, Lord, and restore them to the fellowship of believers.
Lord, we declare that restoration is Your will. You are the God who restores souls (Psalm 23:3), and we trust that You will mend what has been broken. We speak life and reconciliation over this situation, believing that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). May this trial produce perseverance, character, and hope in all of us (Romans 5:3-4).
We commit this person and this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect plan, even when we cannot see the outcome.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, we pray and declare these things. Amen.

We've been thinking about you and the situation you're in, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. We believe that God is a God of restoration and healing, and we're trusting Him to work in this situation. We're asking for patience, love, and wisdom as we wait on the Lord, and we're also praying for protection over the person who has stopped communicating. We're believing that God will soften their heart and bring them back into fellowship with us. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
