We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face this relentless spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the truth that Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The attacks you’ve endured since childhood, the manipulation of others to provoke unforgiveness, and the recent flare-ups of irritation and resistance are not from God. He does not tempt us with evil (James 1:13), nor does He delight in our suffering. Instead, He equips us with the full armor of God so that we may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
We rebuke the spirit of unforgiveness, bitterness, and harassment that has sought to entangle you. The Word declares that we must forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), not because those who wronged you deserve it, but because Christ first forgave you. Unforgiveness is a heavy chain, and the enemy uses it to keep you bound. But where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17). We pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to break every chain of resentment, irritation, and spiritual oppression in your life. May you walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for you on the cross.
We also lift up those who have been used as instruments of this warfare—those who harass you directly or by proxy. The enemy blinds the minds of unbelievers (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. We ask that God would intervene in their lives, soften their hearts, and lead them to repentance. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement that the plans of the enemy will be thwarted in Jesus’ name.
For the recent incident while driving and the ongoing harassment, we pray for supernatural peace to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). The enemy wants to provoke you to anger, but we declare that you will not be overcome by evil, but will overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). We ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to respond—or not respond—to these attacks. May you be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, for human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires (James 1:19-20).
We also sense the need to address the root of this warfare. The enemy often targets those who are called, anointed, or positioned for God’s purposes. If there are areas of your life where you have not fully submitted to God’s will—perhaps in fear, doubt, or unhealed wounds—we encourage you to bring them before the Lord. He is faithful to heal and restore (Psalm 147:3). We pray that you would draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. We thank You that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would surround this dear one with Your angels, that no harm would come near them (Psalm 91:11). Break every assignment of the enemy over their life, and let Your light shine so brightly that the darkness has no choice but to flee.
We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they would be empowered to walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May they not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, they will reap a harvest if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Lord, we ask that You would heal every wound in their heart—those from childhood, those from recent attacks, and those that have festered into bitterness. Pour out Your love like a river, washing away every trace of unforgiveness, anger, and fear. May they know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love (Ephesians 3:18-19), which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We also pray for divine encounters—moments where Your presence is so tangible that the enemy’s lies are silenced. May they hear Your voice clearly, saying, “You are My beloved child, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). Strengthen their faith, Lord, so that they may stand firm, knowing that the battle belongs to You (2 Chronicles 20:15).
In Jesus’ name, we command every spirit of harassment, bitterness, and unforgiveness to leave this situation now. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers this one, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness, for Your protection, and for the victory that is already won. May they walk in that victory every day, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
