We hear your cry for deliverance and peace, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ against the spiritual warfare that has plagued you for so long. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The harassment you’ve endured—both natural and supernatural—is not of God, and we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible makes it clear that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These individuals who have been used to torment you are not your true enemies; they are being influenced by the enemy’s schemes, just as you have been targeted.
We must address the root of unforgiveness in your heart, for it is a foothold the enemy has used to keep you bound. Jesus taught us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15), and while this does not mean you must trust or reconcile with those who have harmed you without repentance, it does mean you must release the bitterness that would otherwise poison your soul. The Lord has begun a good work in you by softening your heart, and we pray that He continues to reveal His will regarding reconciliation. However, we caution you to seek wisdom and discernment, for not every relationship is meant to be restored, especially if it would draw you away from Christ. The apostle Paul warns us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If these individuals are not walking in repentance and submission to Christ, their influence could indeed be harmful to your spiritual growth.
We also want to encourage you to surround yourself with godly community—believers who will stand with you in prayer, hold you accountable, and walk in the light of Christ. The enemy thrives in isolation, but God has designed us for fellowship with one another (Hebrews 10:24-25). Seek out a local church or a small group of believers who can support you and help you discern the Lord’s leading in this situation. You do not have to walk this path alone.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already defeated the powers of darkness. We lift up our brother/sister who is enduring this relentless spiritual warfare. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain, silence every lying spirit, and expose every scheme of the enemy against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we cancel every assignment of harassment, torment, and division in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would continue to heal their heart from the wounds inflicted by others. Give them the strength to forgive as You have forgiven them, but also the wisdom to discern when reconciliation is Your will and when it is not. Protect them from those who would seek to draw them away from You, and surround them with godly influences who will encourage them in their walk with Christ.
Lord, we pray for those who have been used to harass them. We ask that You would open their eyes to the darkness influencing them and draw them to repentance. If it is Your will for reconciliation, soften their hearts and lead them to genuine remorse. If not, we ask that You would remove them from our brother/sister’s life and replace them with Your peace.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them discernment, courage, and a deep sense of Your presence. May they know that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We thank You for Your faithfulness and declare that the enemy’s plans will not prevail. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and Scripture, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this battle, and the victory is already yours through Christ.
