We hear your cry for deliverance from the spiritual battles that have raged in your life since childhood, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God. The Word tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). You are not alone in this fight, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
First, we must address the authority you have in Christ Jesus. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10 WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus—no other name under heaven has been given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we pray you would do so today, for He alone can break every chain and set the captive free.
Now, we take our stand against the enemy who has sought to steal, kill, and destroy in your life (John 10:10 WEB). We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, torment, and generational bondage in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that every assignment of the enemy against you is broken by the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony (Revelation 12:11 WEB).
We pray you would put on the full armor of God daily so that you may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). May the belt of truth gird you, the breastplate of righteousness protect your heart, and the shoes of the gospel of peace guide your steps. May you take up the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart of the enemy, the helmet of salvation guard your mind, and the sword of the Spirit—God’s Word—be your weapon of warfare. We pray you would stand firm, having done all to stand (Ephesians 6:13-17 WEB).
Father God, we ask You to fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light of Your truth and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, to encamp around them and deliver them from every snare of the enemy (Psalm 34:7 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We pray for healing in every area of their life—spirit, soul, and body. May they find rest in You, Lord, and may Your presence go before them, making their crooked paths straight (Proverbs 3:6 WEB). We speak life, joy, and victory over them, for the Lord has given us authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19 WEB).
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to meditate on God’s Word day and night, and to surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in faith. Do not grow weary, for in due season you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9 WEB). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that this spiritual warfare has come to an end, and we speak Your peace, Your protection, and Your power over this precious one. May they walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, and may their life be a testimony of Your goodness and grace. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
