Spiritual warfare

Just A Girl

Prayer Partner
Hi friends greetings. I'll be straight up today. I've not been reading my Bible. I've not been praying. I've not been saying even so much as a scripture and it's been so long since I've gone to church. As soon as I got my job I've been neglecting God and not only him but my school work as well. I need help. Jesus please deliver me. I'm always so tired and worn out and most times I don't even go to class please help. God please give me strength.

We hear the cry of your heart, and we are deeply grieved yet encouraged that you have reached out in this moment of conviction. The fact that you recognize your spiritual neglect is evidence that the Holy Spirit is still at work in you, drawing you back to the Father. You have taken the first step by acknowledging your need for God, and we praise Him for that. The enemy has been using your weariness, distractions, and the demands of life to pull you away from the Source of your strength, but today is the day to break free from this spiritual slumber.

The Word of God warns us in **1 Peter 5:8**, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* You have been in a vulnerable place, and the enemy has sought to keep you there—too tired to pray, too distracted to read Scripture, too overwhelmed to seek fellowship. But we declare over you that this ends now. The Lord is calling you back to Himself, and He is faithful to restore what has been lost.

You mentioned that since you got your job, you have neglected God and even your schoolwork. While work is a blessing and a provision from the Lord, it was never meant to replace Him. **Matthew 6:33** reminds us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your strength, your time, and your priorities must be surrendered to Christ first, or everything else will crumble. You cannot pour from an empty cup, and your soul has been running on empty. No wonder you are exhausted—the Lord did not design you to operate apart from Him.

We also see that you cried out to Jesus for deliverance—this is the right response! **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* You called on the only Name that has power to break every chain, and we stand with you in agreement that the Lord will deliver you from this spiritual drought. But deliverance requires action on your part as well. Repentance is not just feeling sorry; it is turning away from sin and turning back to God. **James 4:7-8** says, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."*

So what must you do? First, confess your neglect and ask the Lord to forgive you. He is faithful and just to forgive (1 John 1:9). Then, make a deliberate plan to reconnect with Him. Start small if you must—even five minutes in the Word and five minutes in prayer is a beginning. But do not wait until you "feel like it." Obedience often precedes the feeling. Set aside time each day to read Scripture, even if it is just a single verse to meditate on. Begin praying again, even if your prayers feel weak at first. The Lord hears the cries of His children, no matter how faint.

As for your schoolwork, we encourage you to commit it to the Lord. **Proverbs 16:3** says, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* Ask Him for wisdom, discipline, and the strength to attend your classes. He will provide what you need as you seek Him first.

Finally, we strongly urge you to return to church fellowship. **Hebrews 10:24-25** tells us, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* You were not meant to walk this Christian life alone. The body of Christ is there to encourage you, pray for you, and hold you accountable. If you have fallen away from a church, ask the Lord to lead you to a Bible-believing, Christ-centered fellowship where you can grow and be strengthened.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who has humbly confessed their need for You. Lord, we thank You that You have not abandoned them, even in their wandering. You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost, and today, You have found them. Father, forgive them for their neglect of Your Word, of prayer, and of fellowship with Your people. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and restore unto them the joy of Your salvation.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of weariness, distraction, and complacency that has kept them from You. By the power of the Holy Spirit, break every chain of procrastination and spiritual lethargy. Fill them afresh with Your Spirit, that they may rise up with new strength, mounted up with wings as eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting (Isaiah 40:31).

Give them a hunger for Your Word, Lord. Let it be sweeter than honey to their mouth (Psalm 119:103). Renew their mind and guard their heart against the lies of the enemy. Help them to prioritize their time according to Your will, seeking first Your Kingdom in all things. Grant them discipline to attend their classes, wisdom to excel in their studies, and favor in their workplace. Let every area of their life be surrendered to You, that You may be glorified in it.

Father, lead them back to a church where they can be nourished, encouraged, and held accountable. Surround them with brothers and sisters in Christ who will spur them on toward love and good deeds. Let them not walk this path alone, but be strengthened by the body of believers You have placed in their life.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy, but You, Lord, have come to give life and life abundantly (John 10:10). Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Renew their passion for You, their love for Your Word, and their commitment to walk in obedience.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, this is your moment to rise. The Lord is extending His hand to you—will you take it? Do not wait another day. Start now. Open your Bible, bend your knees, and let the Lord meet you right where you are. He is waiting. We are standing with you in prayer and belief that God will do a mighty work in your life. Keep us updated on how the Lord moves—we long to rejoice with you!

Hey there,

We've been thinking about you and wanted to drop you a line. We know life can get busy and overwhelming, but we're here to remind you that you're not alone. God sees you, and He's been waiting for you to turn back to Him.

We love that you've been honest about your struggles. It takes courage to admit when we've been neglecting our relationship with God. But remember, even when we wander, God is always there, ready to welcome us back with open arms. He's like the father in the parable of the prodigal son, running to meet his wayward child.

We want to encourage you to take it one step at a time. Start with a small commitment to God. Maybe it's just 5 minutes of reading your Bible and praying each day. Consistency is key. And remember, it's okay if your prayers feel weak or your Bible reading feels dry at first. The important thing is that you're taking the first steps back to Him.

As for your school work, give it to God. Ask Him for wisdom, discipline, and strength. He promises to give you what you need as you seek Him first.

And hey, don't forget about church. We know life gets busy, but fellowship with other believers is so important. It's where we can encourage each other, hold each other accountable, and grow together.

We're praying for you, friend. We're asking God to forgive you, restore you, and fill you with His Spirit. We're believing that He's going to give you the strength you need to run this race, not grow weary, and not faint.

Let's keep each other updated, yeah? We're in this together.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep going, one step at a time. You got this!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting you up in prayer during this difficult season of spiritual weariness and exhaustion. Your honesty about the struggles you’re facing—the distance from God’s Word, the neglect of prayer, and the overwhelming fatigue—has moved our hearts deeply. We know how real the battle is when the demands of work, school, and life pull us away from the One who gives us strength, and we’ve been earnestly praying that the Lord would break through the heaviness you’re carrying.

It’s been a few days since you shared this burden with us, and we want you to know we’re still standing with you in faith. If the Lord has begun to renew your spirit—whether through a fresh hunger for His Word, a return to prayer, or even just a glimmer of hope in the exhaustion—we’d love to rejoice with you. A testimony of His faithfulness would encourage us all. But if the weight still feels just as heavy, if the weariness lingers, or if the struggle to reconnect with God persists, please don’t hesitate to share your heart again. We’re here to keep interceding, to keep believing for your breakthrough, and to remind you that you’re not alone in this fight.

The enemy wants nothing more than to isolate you in shame, to convince you that you’ve strayed too far or that your weariness disqualifies you from God’s presence. But we’re declaring over you the truth of Scripture—that Christ is your strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), that His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You don’t have to muster the energy to “fix” yourself before coming to Him. He’s waiting for you right where you are, ready to lift the burden you’ve been carrying alone.

Let us know how we can continue to pray specifically—whether it’s for the discipline to open your Bible again, the endurance to attend class, or the supernatural rest your body and soul need. We’re believing for a fresh outpouring of His grace in your life, that He would restore what’s been lost and reignite the passion for Him that the enemy has tried to steal.

May the Lord meet you in this place of honesty and weariness, wrapping you in His peace and drawing you back into His presence. We’re not giving up on you, because we know *He* hasn’t given up on you. Keep pressing in, even if it’s just one small step at a time. We’re cheering you on and covering you in prayer.

In Jesus’ powerful name.
