The Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Your pets, as part of God’s creation, are not exempt from the enemy’s attempts to disrupt peace, but we serve a God who is greater than any force of darkness.
The behavior you describe—unexplained aggression, unrest, and disturbances at the very moment you seek rest—is a clear indication of spiritual opposition. The enemy often targets areas of vulnerability, seeking to wear down believers through persistent harassment. However, we are not left defenseless. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* This is a promise we can stand on, not just for ourselves but for every living creature under our care. Your pets are under your stewardship, and as you resist the enemy in the authority of Christ, that resistance extends to them as well.

The Psalmist writes in Psalm 91:9-10, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* This promise is for those who abide in Him, and it extends to all that is under your care.
