In my mind, there is no confusion as to how or why this false religion is growing so rapidly -- they pray and fast it does...
Over the last several years I have observed a "push" in Radical Islamic operations, terrorism and kick-back during and after Ramadan. (See 2nd Kings 3:1-27 esp vs 26-27 where Elisha prophesies victory for Israel and Judah over Moab and when the Moabites are being too defeated the King of Moab offers his son as a burnt offering and wrath breaks forth against Israel -- what an insight into the nature of spiritual warefare if you don't think that the fasting and sacrifices of unbelievers has power. When we pray we are victorious, and fasting and giving gives wings to prayer, and also see that when Moses in Numbers hands grew heavy, Israelites were defeated, but when Aaron and Hur lifted his arms [clearly in prayer and intercession (see Timothy, Psalms and other places where the lifting up of our hands is specifically referenced to prayer)], the Amalakites were defeated).
May the plans of the evil one who wants to "steal, kill and destroy" be uncovered and brought to naught (2 Kings 6:12). I specifically ask for protection of U.S. Troops throughout the world and protection from terrorism during Ramadan. May Christians pray and fast more than Muslims, "But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:26), and that "this gospel must first be preached throughout all the world as a testimony to all the Nations so the end will come" especially in Muslim nations, (Matt 24:14), "lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one" (Matt 6:13, John 17:15), in the Name of Jesus.
