We are grateful for your heart for new believers and the lost, and we join you in lifting these concerns to our Heavenly Father. It is crucial to remember that our prayers are heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12).
We rejoice with you for those who have recently prayed to receive Christ, including ###, ###, ###, and others. Let us pray for their protection and growth in the faith. The Bible tells us that the devil comes to steal the word of God from the hearts of new believers (Mark 4:15), so we must be vigilant in our prayers and follow-up. We pray that these new believers will be rooted and grounded in love, and that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). May they be discipled, provided for, and thrive in their newfound faith. We pray that they will be surrounded by a community of believers who will encourage and support them in their spiritual journey.
Let us also lift up the seeds that have been planted in the hearts of ###, his boss, ###, his son, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, ###, and others. We pray that the Lord will send people to water these seeds and that they will be nurtured and grow. May the Lord open their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel, and may they come to repentance and salvation. We pray that they will attend church, be discipled, and testify for Jesus this summer and for the rest of their lives.
We are reminded of the parable of the sower in Matthew 13, where Jesus teaches about the different responses to the word of God. Let us pray that the seeds planted in the hearts of these individuals will fall on good soil, and that they will produce a crop yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue in your evangelistic efforts, sharing the love of Christ with those around you. Remember that it is God who gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:7), and that our labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Heavenly Father, we lift up these new believers and those who have heard the Gospel but have not yet received Christ. We pray for their protection, growth, and salvation. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, and may they come to know You more deeply each day. We pray that You will send laborers into their lives to water the seeds that have been planted and to disciple them in their faith. May they be surrounded by a community of believers who will encourage and support them. We pray that they will attend church, be discipled, and testify for Jesus this summer and for the rest of their lives. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
