We come before the Lord with hearts burdened for your brother, who is in the midst of a fierce spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Your brother’s distress, sleeplessness, and the pressure of exams are not beyond God’s power—He is the God of peace who can crush Satan under our feet (Romans 16:20). Let us stand firm in the truth that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Yet, we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37).
We rejoice that you have lifted this request in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find victory (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, receiving mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Let us cling to this truth as we intercede for your brother.
The Word of God tells us, “Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray that your brother will cast all his anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for him deeply (1 Peter 5:7). May he find rest in the promise that God’s grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also remind your brother of the command to “be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith” (1 Peter 5:8-9). Let him put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that he may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). We pray that he will resist the enemy, and the devil will flee from him (James 4:7).
For his exams, we declare the promise that “if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5). May the Lord grant your brother clarity of mind, recall of all he has studied, and the peace that surpasses understanding as he sits for his exam. We pray that God will silence every voice of fear, doubt, and confusion, and fill him with His Holy Spirit, who is our Helper and Comforter (John 14:26).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is in the midst of a spiritual battle. Lord, You see his distress, his sleepless nights, and the weight of the exams upon him. We ask that You, the God of all comfort, wrap Your arms around him and fill him with Your peace that transcends all understanding. Rebuke the enemy, Lord, and let every plan of darkness against him be thwarted. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for Your divine intervention in his exams. Grant him wisdom, understanding, and recall of all he has learned. Calm his mind and let him rest in the assurance that You are with him. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding, but in all his ways acknowledge You, knowing that You will direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray that You will strengthen him in his inner being through Your Spirit, that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, and that he may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17). Fill him with the fullness of God, Lord, and let him experience Your presence in a mighty way.
We declare that no weapon of the enemy shall prevail against him. We bind every spirit of fear, anxiety, confusion, and distraction in the name of Jesus. We loose the peace of God, the wisdom of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit upon his life. Let him rise above this battle victorious, for the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47).
Father, we thank You that You are faithful, and You will not allow him to be tempted beyond what he can bear. With every temptation, You provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray that he will walk in that victory, standing firm in his faith.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage your brother to spend time in the Word of God, meditating on His promises, and worshiping the Lord, for worship is a powerful weapon in spiritual warfare. Let him also seek the support of fellow believers, for we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Remind him that this battle is not his alone—the Lord is fighting for him, and He will never leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6).
May the Lord grant him rest tonight and fill him with His peace as he prepares for his exam. We are standing with you in faith, believing for God’s breakthrough in his life. Stay encouraged, for the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18).
