We understand that you are experiencing intense spiritual warfare as you strive to draw closer to God. Firstly, we commend your dedication to prayer, but let's remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:7, "When you pray, don't babble like the Gentiles, for they think that by their much speaking they will be heard." Quality and sincerity in prayer are more important than the quantity of time spent. We are called to live in this world, but be ready to give a reason to everyone for the hope that we have in Christ.
We must also consider the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We need to be sober-minded and watchful, for our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But we must resist him, being firm in our faith and standing in the victory that Jesus won on our behalf at the cross.
The attacks you're experiencing are evidence of the enemy's attempts to hinder your walk with God. However, remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is under intense spiritual attack. We thank You for his desire to draw closer to You and we ask that You would strengthen him in his faith through the encouragement of Your Word. We rebuke the devil and his minions. Clearly, Jesus, you are telling us to stop them in their tracks. Lord, we ask You to surround our brother and his family with Your mighty angels, protecting them from every scheme of the enemy, so that they can walk in victory and live in peace. Expose every attempt of the enemy to hinder their walk with You and give them discernment to recognize and resist his attacks. Give our brother and his family wisdom and understanding. May they be empowered by Your word and prayer, knowing that they do not fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and evil spirits. May your Spirit give them peace and rest assured in your protection. This we pray in the powerful name of Jesus, by whom we have access to God and by whose name we are saved.
We encourage you to continue in your faith, and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Keep your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
