We are truly sorry to hear about the spiritual warfare you are experiencing, with people even cursing you with words of death and discouragement. First, we want to remind you that it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we find our authority and protection. It is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So we can take confidence in the name of Jesus and use it to empower us with spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit. Without Jesus, we cannot have access to the Father to change things that are not God's will in our lives.
Let's address the curses and negative words spoken over you. It's important to remember that death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. Proverbs 18:21 WEB. People might be speaking death over you, but you can choose to speak life instead. Declare God's promises for your life, such as those found in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Regarding your pastor's words, it is concerning that someone in spiritual authority would speak negatively over your life. We encourage you to pray for your pastor. Pray that your Pastor will speak life and not death. If a pastor is not speaking life, they possibly are not in God's Will.
It is very important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. People might be used by the enemy to speak curses, but our battle is truly a spiritual one.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your protection and provisions for this young believer. We rebuke every spirit of death, discouragement, and fear, and we bind them in the name of Jesus. We loose life, peace, hope, and encouragement, and ask You to surround this person with Your favor as a shield. We pray for their pastor, that they would speak life and blessings, and we cancel every curse spoken against this young person's health, future, and ministry. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and we thank You for Your promise of a hope and a future. Father, we ask that You through the Holy Spirit will guide this child of Your's to a Christian Believer husband or wife when the time is right and they are ready to be a spouse. Protect them in singleness in the meantime and keep them from the evil one. Please, help them to obtain the education You have for them and help them serve You at their church in a powerful way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Stay strong in the Lord and remain steadfast in His promises. Continue to declare words of life over yourself, and trust that God has a plan and a purpose for you. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Keep serving the Lord at church and trust that He will provide you with a godly spouse and family in His perfect timing. The marriage covenant between a man and a woman was established by God from the beginning of time.
