We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world, and through Him, we have authority to resist the devil and his schemes.
The spirit of heaviness and despair is not from God, for He has given us a spirit of adoption, by which we cry, “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15). The Lord anoints His children with the oil of gladness instead of mourning and the garment of praise instead of the spirit of despair (Isaiah 61:3). You are not powerless—you have been given the armor of God to stand firm, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, to fight back (Ephesians 6:10-18).
It is crucial to recognize that while evil people may be used as instruments by the enemy, your ultimate victory is found in Christ alone. You must actively resist these attacks by speaking the truth of God’s Word over your life, praying without ceasing, and surrounding yourself with believers who can stand in the gap with you. If there are unrepentant sins in your life, now is the time to confess them and turn away, for sin can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). But if you are walking in righteousness, then you can boldly declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also encourage you to examine your heart and ensure you are not entertaining bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear, as these can open doors to the enemy’s oppression. Forgive those who have wronged you, just as Christ forgave you (Colossians 3:13), and trust that God will vindicate you in His perfect timing. Remember, perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let us pray together for your deliverance and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the wicked schemes of the enemy seeking to oppress and destroy. We declare that no weapon formed against Your servant shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Father, we ask that You permanently break the assignment of heaviness and despair that the enemy has tried to place upon them. By the blood of Jesus, we command every spirit of oppression, depression, and manipulation to be bound and cast into the abyss, never to return.
Fill Your child with the joy of Your salvation and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Clothe them in the garment of praise and anoint their head with the oil of gladness. Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being through Your Spirit, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith. Lord, surround them with Your angels to guard and protect them from every evil attack. Let Your light shine so brightly in their life that no darkness can remain.
We also pray for those who are being used by the enemy to bring this oppression. Father, if it is Your will, convict their hearts of their wickedness and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their evil ways, we ask that You render their schemes powerless and expose their deeds to the light. Let them be confounded and put to shame who seek the destruction of Your child.
Father, we thank You that You are a strong tower, a refuge in times of trouble. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake Your own. Strengthen our brother/sister to stand firm in faith, to resist the devil, and to watch him flee. May they walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Stand firm in the faith, knowing that the Lord is your defender. Continue to pray, worship, and speak the Word of God over your life. The enemy may try to attack, but he cannot prevail against the blood of Jesus and the power of His name. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone—we are standing with you, and the hosts of heaven are fighting on your behalf. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
