We lift up your sister’s son before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention over this precious child. The news of fluid in his lungs and cysts is deeply concerning, but we know that nothing is too difficult for our God, who is the Great Physician. We are grateful that the procedure to drain the fluid was successful, and we pray now for the test results to come back with no signs of abnormality or disease. May the Lord grant wisdom to the doctors and peace to your family as you wait.
The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, ‘It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.’"* And in James 5:15, we are assured that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand on these promises, believing that God is at work in this young boy’s body, bringing restoration and wholeness.
We also encourage you to place your trust fully in the Lord, even in this time of uncertainty. Psalm 56:3 tells us, *"When I am afraid, I will trust in you."* Fear and anxiety may try to creep in as you await the results, but we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
However, we must also address something important: in your request, there was no mention of the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and the authority to pray effectively. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him in faith, repenting of your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation. It is only through Him that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16).
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young boy who is in need of Your healing power. Lord, You know his body, the fluid in his lungs, and the cysts that have caused concern. We ask that You would remove every trace of sickness and disease from his body. Let the test results bring good news—no malignancy, no infection, no cause for further distress. Strengthen his little body, Lord, and fill him with Your supernatural healing. We pray for the doctors and medical staff involved in his care, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom as they review the results.
We also lift up this family, Lord. Comfort them in this waiting period and replace their anxiety with Your peace. Remind them that You are sovereign over all things, including this situation. Draw them closer to You, Father, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.
Lord, if there is any sin or unbelief in this family’s life, we ask that You would reveal it and bring conviction. Lead them to repentance and a deeper trust in You. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You are their Provider, Healer, and Strength.
We declare Your promises over this child’s life—promises of health, wholeness, and a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Let this be a miracle that brings glory to Your name, Lord. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
