O Lord, speak to my husband at this very moment. Give him longing and deep love for you and this family ( for the kids and me ). Let him have no rest and no peace until he turns to see you, your will and us. Let us start praising and honouring you together! Let us serve you together as a family. Lord I ask for forgiveness for my husband, but also for me, for not trusting enough, that you hold everything in your hands. Lord, I pray for you through the blood you shed on the cross for all of us, that you will heal our hearts, our minds, our family and our marriage. Lord, take away all that doesnt belong to you, that doesnt belong in this family and marriage. Lord, put your protecting hands around this family, especially our children. Lord, give us better understanding for you, your will and for each other. Dont let the evil one win in this family - you shall be the winner. I thank you my LORD, my SAVIOUR, my KING. In your precious name I pray LORD JESUS. AMEN
In order to fully understand the things of God, we have to be in the word. Scripture says that satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. Scripture also says that Jesus has defeated the devil, in fact has taken the keys to death and hell away from him. The devil cannot win, beloved, Jesus has already defeated him. As a born again believer, that devil is under your feet and you are seated with Christ in heavenly places. Righteous in Christ, quickened, raised and seated with Jesus in heavenly places. Devil is under YOUR feet, because you are in Christ...you are the overcomer, the triumphant one, the victorious one.
According, His divine power HAS GIVEN us EVERY THING we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given unto us great and precious promises that by these you might be made partakers of His divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.2 Peter 1:3,4
If you abide in Me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7
Jesus hung on the cross and cried out "IT IS FINISHED!" What is finished? Salvation is not just about making it to heaven. It includes, healing, wholeness, provision, protection deliverance. You are asking for healing when Jesus already accomplished that 2000 years ago when He was horribly beaten and it is with his stripes that we ARE healed, NOW.
Isaiah 53 says that 'he bore our griefs and carried our sorrows' and we thought it was God who was punishing him...but in truth it was our sins. So if Jesus already bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, then we understand why He says in Matthew Come unto Me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you REST. Take my yoke upon you and learn of Me for I am meek and lowly and you shall find REST unto your soul. For My yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Martha and Mary were having guests. Jesus was there. Martha is busy working while Mary is RESTING at the feet of Jesus. Martha gets upset and says to Jesus, Lord don't you care that I am busy and there sits my sister doing nothing but sit at your feet? Jesus looks at her lovingly and with compassion and says, Martha Martha, you worry over many things, but Mary has chosen the better part.
Php 4:6 Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
Php 4:7 Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
Php 4:8 Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious--the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.
Father, thank you for the victory that is ours in Christ. Thank you that your will is for restoration and redemption of lives and of marriages. I speak life to his marriage in the name of Jesus. I pray be merciful to this husband and bring him to the place of repentance, turning away from his own way of doing things and returning to his first love Yeshua/Jesus. . Bring to his remembrance the reason why he fell in love with his wife. What it was that caught his attention and let intimacy be restored. I pray for this wife and ask for the light of your word to permeate her mind. Give each one spiritual wisdom and revelation and let their eyes be flooded with light that they might know what is the hope of Your calling for their lives and marriage. Bless this marriage with the fulness of You and for Christ to be the center. Let praise and worship be what comes out of their mouths as it flows from their spirit. In Yeshua's name. Amen.
